There's a real charm to Havana. It's undeniable. Inescapable. That melting pot racial mix of complex colonial origins, the soulful musical vibe, deteriorating buildings and infrastructure everywhere you go. What you see vs what you really see and experience if you go.
Perhaps, in five years, this Cuba will be gone. Replaced by the influx of foreign travelers as relations between the US and Cuba continue to thaw. Or perhaps, it will be as if nothing ever happened. The needle slowly moving towards progress while the charm of this island endures.
