The Governor’s House was erected on the Volga embankment at the order of the Emperor Alexander I; it served as a residence for the governor and the en route imperial palace. All Russian emperors from Alexander I to Nikolay II visited Yaroslavl and lived in the house. Since 1970 the Governor’s House serves as the main building of the Yaroslavl Art Museum

Этот дворцовый особняк посетили все русские императоры, начиная с Александра Первого и заканчивая Николаем Вторым. Iglesia-fortaleza del siglo xiii en la localidad española de Calera de León, en la provincia de Badajoz, considerado una de las mejores muestras del mudéjar español.
The Galleria built between 1865 and 1877 is formed by two arcades shaped like a Latin cross covered by a glass and iron dome. The structure of the Galleria is 32 metres high, comprises 353 tonnes of iron utilised for the skeleton of the cover, and its octagonal-shaped roof reaches a height of 47 metres. If you walk around the galleries, the central dome has a stunning mosaic that represents the continents of Asia, Africa, Europe and America.
Расположенная в самом сердце города, эта торговая галерея соединяет две красивейшие площади «столицы моды» — площадь перед собором Дуомо и площадь перед театром Ла Скала. алерея носит имя короля Витторио Эммануэле II (или Виктора Эммануила), а построена она была в 1865—1877 гг. по проекту архитектора Джузеппе Менгони, который, увы, до окончания работ не дожил — упал со строительных лесов и погиб. Пассаж имеет удивительно гармоничную в архитектурном плане форму латинского креста с восьмиугольным центром. Его главная изюминка — стеклянные крыши и гигантский 47-метровый купол посередине. Украшенную мозаиками, изображающими четыре континента (кроме Австралии), галерею можно назвать поистине архитектурной жемчужиной столицы Ломбардии. Внутри — яркие фрески, изящные скульптуры, причудливая лепнина и мозаичный пол с гербами Милана, Турина, Рима и Флоренции.

The Eiffel Tower is a puddled iron tower 324 meters in height located in Paris, at the northwest end of the park of Champ de Mars beside the Seine in the 7ᵉ district.
