Achères allocated 17016 correctly carries code 8 before its number, which specifies its a Île-de-France machine. With so many loco hauled trains arriving at Paris Lazare its almost impossible to figure where they come from, and is seen here arriving at 14:48, hence the harsh high summer sun light.

St Nicholas is a fine cruciform church, though it has lost its crossing tower (replaced by the present Perpendicular west tower, one assumes). Although there are the usual later windows dotted around, the main body seems to be Early English. One enters through a nice doorway with lots of semi-engaged columns and moulded arches
BBQ'ing on the pool deck as this storm begins to roll through Midtown, Atlanta. Crane was so close it felt like you could reach out and touch it. Was crazy to see the workers still on it as winds were gusting at 25mph, rain beginning to come down and night falling.

Buchanan and West Vermilion stands a building that is also a museum quality artifact unto itself. The Lafayette Hardware Store (c. 1890) is one of Lafayette’s oldest commercial buildings and is a two story, false front, frame Italianate structure located in the downtown area.
Designed and built by Mr. & Mrs. George Hopkins, it is a full-blown, two story frame Italianate commercial building. As such, it is the city's only remaining example of a type which was once the standard large commercial building in small and large towns across the state. It is one of the city's oldest commercial buildings, as it dates from c. 1890, while almost all of Lafayette's fifty or so other older commercial buildings date from the post-1900 period
this is wudaokou. i spend a lot of time here. i think that when i return to the states, and think of beijing, i will think of this area first. this place is my second home.
best viewed large, by the way. actually, if you feel like waiting, i'd suggest the original, even though it's a bit grainy. you can get a pretty good look onto the street, read street signs, etc. there are actually a lot of people in this photo, which isn't evident from this size.
Local wedding venue. I was headed to the house and noticed the clouds when I passed this place. Turned the car around and came back. Began searching for someone to ask permission to take a picture. Nary a soul to be found. This is a shot from the backside that I have never been to before. My wife called me when I was standing in the grass taking this to see why I wasn't home yet. It kinda cut short my little daydream. This is a cool old house and must be a great place to get hitched.

Seneca County Courthouse Complex at Ovid, also known as the "Three Bears," is a historic courthouse complex located at Ovid in Seneca County, New York. The 1845 courthouse, known as "Papa Bear," is a 2 1⁄2-story, three-by-four-bay, Neoclassical brick structure with a monumental frame pedimented portico supported by four Doric order columns and topped by a cupola. The "Old" Clerk's Office, known as "Mama Bear," was also constructed in 1845 and is similar in design and construction. The "New" Clerk's Office, known as "Baby Bear," was constructed about 1860 and is also of the same, simple Doric design
