On ne peut pas se promener dans les rues de Strasbourg sans remarquer ces belles façades en bois qui témoignent de l'histoire de la ville, l'époque médiévale.
Das Flatiron Gebäude gehört zu meinen liebsten Häusern. Die einzigartige Fassade und Bauweise sind schon etwas ganz Besonderes für mich. Wenn ich auch nicht erklären kann warum.
The Flatiron Building is one of my favorite houses. The unique façade and design are something very special for me. Though I can not explain why.

The 1900 apartment building is located at 317 Bleecker in Manhattan.The monogrammed "G" on the fire escape were added around the 1940's and perhaps represent the cross street the building is near,Groves St.If you view larger you'll see some faces near the center.I personally like the fire escape reflection in the window.

The Flevo building is located on the Achtergracht in Zwolle and is a municipal monument from 1898.
For a long time the craft school was located here, later the IJsselmeer Polders Service was housed and hence plans for the Flevopolder were put into execution. Then the building was called 'Flevogebouw'. (Source: wikipedia).

That's the Hyatt, downtown Austin. The great thing about the Hyatt is, it's a perfect place to take night shots of the city.
The weather was just right for my hike Sunday. A cold front is blowing in tonight and it looks like we're going to have a cold week. Of course, it's not going to be anything like what some of you are having. Hope your week goes well.

...in der Nähe von Senftenberg am gleichnamigen See!
Ich bin vor zwei Stunden hier angekommen, habe fürstlich gespeist (wie es sich ja für ein Schloss auch gehört) und danach mein Stativ geschnappt und versucht, die unglaublich mystische Stimmung des Gebäudes einzufangen.
Der Wecker für morgen früh ist bereits eingestellt... vielleicht gibt es ja noch einen Schlossteich - wer weiß?
Jetzt lege ich mich hin und warte auf das Schlossgespenst ;-)))
