The building located at 101-103 W. Oklahoma Avenue in downtown Guthrie is a lovely, ornate two-story brick and sandstone building, constructed in 1890 and 1893, with a long, interesting history. The building's Russian capped oriel, beveled corner, elaborate metal cornices, arched windows, and combined use of native sandstone and dark red brick suggest it was a Joseph Foucart design."

Peter Cetera (Chicago's member previously) came to Sydney last weekend. Joined by Sydney Symphony Orchestra, it was a great concert. This theatre is in the middle of the city but it's a great heritage.

Cathédrale Saint-Pierre Genève . Switzerland. Izakigur 12.05.18, 11:53:19 No. 8721 22 23 24 25.

"The St. Pierre Cathedral is a cathedral in Geneva, Switzerland, today belonging to the Reformed Protestant Church of Geneva. It is known as the adopted home church of John Calvin, one of the leaders of the Protestant Reformation. Inside the church is a wooden chair used by Calvin.

The Cat’s Eye Flea Market in Walnut Grove, Missouri, is a favorite of mine. The old building is empty, and the business moved to a different location in town. However, I think it has closed as well. The building in the photo has a corner location and just seems to have such character, in spite of the crumbling bricks and boarded-up windows. I’d never be able to go inside, however, because of the Parallel Parking requirement....

GROUND ZERO

The Pateo do Collegio is associated with the foundation of São Paulo. The place chosen for the construction of the complex was strategic because it is high and was served by two important rivers: Anhangabaú and the Tamanduateí.

There, the Jesuits created a college to catechize Indians. The mass in commemoration of the opening of this small school in 1554 was chosen, years later, to mark the foundation of São Paulo.

Two centuries later, the Jesuits were expelled from Brazil and the space of the college became the seat of local government - which worked until 1930. Behind the white wall in front of the courtyard is the parish of São José de Anchieta and a museum.

The museum has collections of sacred art pieces such as crucifixes, oratories and holy water basins, as well as paintings from the 17th and 18th centuries. In the space you can still see, through photos, maps and models, the architectural changes for which Paul passed. Also it guards the mantle of the priest Jose de Anchieta (1534-1597), canonized in 2014 by the Pope Francisco.

Already the parish sports a relic for the catholics: the femur of Anchieta. The space is overturned by the Condephaat (state council of defense of the historical patrimony).

I love autumn! Especially in Bruges. Feels to be back in time.
