De voor TXL rijdende MRCE-vectron 193 657 werd in 2020 voorzien van de fraaie bestickering ‘Wir bringen die Kraft von 8500 Pferden auf die Schiene’ ). Eind 2021 werd de loc weer bij MCRE ingeleverd en kwam vrijwel gelijk bij SBB cargo in dienst, waarbij de bestickering gelukkig behouden bleef. Op 5 maart 2022 is de loc met een goed beladen Busto-shuttle onderweg vanuit het Italiaanse Gallarate (I) via Venlo naar Waalhaven Zuid en passeert hier ter hoogte van het tussen Horst-Sevenum en Deurne gelegen America. Dit was de laatste rit van de loc met deze bestickering: na het weekend van 5 en 6 maart 2022 werd de loc ontstickerd bij LWR op de Maasvlakte en voorzien van de nieuwe SBB ‘Shadowpiercer’-bestickering.

Gerbera is a genus of ornamental plants from the sunflower family.
It was named in honour of the German naturalist Traugott Gerber.
It has approximately 30 species in the wild, extending to South America, Africa and tropical Asia.
Colours include white, yellow, orange, red, and pink.
The center of the flower is sometimes black.

Spring brings new life, they say. But with it are the tragedies. These swallows were nesting in the carpark where we set out for our shopping. We watched the parent birds rest on the water pipes before or after feeding the chicks in their nest. Then, one day, a chick had tried to fly too soon. Why it was not flat on the walk way I leave up to your imagination. Maybe it shows the same lack of care as Australian attitudes to climate change.
Reflecting in a puddle.
A chap came out of his shop to ask me if I was taking a picture of a puddle and why.
My friend replied "no, he's taking pictures of reflections" then suggested I show the man, he was completely mesmerised by it, to the point he grabbed hold of my camera to see the rear screen better.
He then told me I had inspired him to take his camera out, having not taken pictures for ages.... What started out as a possible idea of a reflection in a mere puddle in the street, turned into a good conversation and inspiring another photographer to go and take some pictures.
I came away very happy.
