The festival was a big deal for the town of Bridgeview and its new soccer staduim. I have to say they did everything right, getting everyone in and out. I heard later that the local residents complain because in order to get everyone in and out they block the roads to local traffic. We did see a long line of cars jammed the other way as we left.

The ladies joined others for breakfast at Evans Sidewalk Cafe in downtown Bristol.

One of my favorite places in the Solomons: the passage between Vella Lavella Liapari - it was like a giant swimming pool.

3 April 2008, Bridgeview, Illinois: Toyota Park
The Chicago Fire handly defeat the New England Revolution scoring the first goal within the 4.5 minutes of play by Chad Barrett. The remaining goals were scored all in the first half, two by newly signed international, Tomasz Frankowski, and another by Cuauhtemoc Blanco.
For the 15,000 + CHICAGO FANS who naturally braved the constantly cold rain, this victory was a grand home opener and satisfying revenge on a infamous Twellman Bicycle kick in 2007.
"Late last night when the REVS were all in bed, Barrett lit a lantern in the shed, And when Cuauhtemoc kicked it over, He winked his eye and said, "We're goin' have a hot time in the old town tonight. FIRE! FIRE! FIRE!"
