……Not many bridges have a bend along them I’m sure but this one on the Camel Trail at Padstow clearly does! This is an iPhone shot - Smartphones are great tools when you want to get low or rather ultra close to a reflective surface, I also took a few shots on the Fuji but none came up to this compositionally, (IMHO). I particularly liked the railings - one short & one longer going around the bend. Alan:-)…..

……Certainly is - AND another bridge!! (and more rain LOL). The old railway line from Keswick to Penrith, at one time there were some 78 bridges in this 18 mile branch line and on the 3 mile stretch from Threlkeld to Keswick the River Greta went under 8 of them - one of which is the bridge seen through the road bridge here, a good place to dry the phone off after taking this and a few more in the pouring rain! Alan:-)

………Well at least another bridge to get over first!! This route was out of action for a few years after severe flood damage in 2015 during storm Desmond when two bridges were washed away & another severely damaged. The Penrith to Keswick branch line follows the River Greta from Threlkeld to Keswick - I can just imagine what a wonderful 18 mile train ride that was and the excitement of no less than 78 bridges! Yes SEVENTY EIGHT!! - 8 of which cross the SAME river (Greta). Thankfully the current rainfall hasn’t taken such a toll in the area by all accounts though it has been pretty rough. Alan:-)…….

…… I’ve taken this view off the footbridge here at Attingham park lots of times, and today I think I found my best so I made it my #106 photo of the day. We went early to avoid the Easter crowds - much quieter than we thought and the weather better than forecast too! Taken on my phone in Apple RAW and edited in Lightroom. Press Z or Pinch-out to take a closer look - I liked the diamond shaped cross hatching made by trees & their reflections. Alan:-)

ETR's 0630 job passes through the west end neighbourhood of Bridgeview in Windsor. I call this photo "propaganda" because the seemingly abandoned house is actually owned by the Ambassador Bridge Company. They want to tear down this and several other properties they own, but are lacking permits so they put up these signs on them. It's a very long and complicated story, so you can do the research yourselves if you'd like. Also of note, ETR 105 is sporting a new paint job. 105 was ordered new by ETR in 1956, and was delivered in this paint scheme. After a full rebuild, ETR had the unit painted back into its original 1956 paint scheme.
Train: ETR 0630 job with ETL 105 (SW1200).

I borrowed Keith Latimer's backyard (otherwise known as the Bridgeview Bed and Breakfast) to grab NS 34A as it crept across the Susquehanna River. The Allentown-Enola manifest had a shiny orange leader that I thought would look decent with some orange on Blue Mountain behind it but the foliage was already past peak.

Veteran CN SD70I number 5615 slowly rounds the corner past the Partap Forest Products sawmill in the Bridgeview area of Surrey, BC. The thirty year old EMD leads a more modern SD70M-2 cousin with a transfer from CN's Thornton Yard to their Lynn Creek Yard in North Vancouver.
Gyproc is so named for the Georgia-Pacific gypsum wallboard plant which operated for decades at the location where I am standing. The plant was idled almost fifteen years ago, before demolition in 2021. The location now only marks the diverging switch for the Brownsville spur to the Fraser Surrey Docks complex, and the last control point on the Yale Subdivision before its end at the Fraser River Junction.
