I love all types of art and admire creative people since I have no creativity at all. We flew into London a few hours earlier and I was trying to stay awake so I decided to check out the murals of Brick Lane in East London. I exited from the Tube station, took a wrong turn, and ended up near the East London Mosque. Interesting area. I got my bearings and found an amazing number of murals and paintings, not just on Brick Lane but in surrounding parks. Absolutely amazing and a great place to check out - and then have a curry afterwards!

My wife sent me to the store for a few things. When I returned I took a few photos at our apartment complex. For this shot, I was moving to a different position and noticed this view on the camera's screen. So I snapped the picture as I found it interesting.

Well, not "bricked", literally, but "stoned up" doesn't sound quite the same...

We finally switched from Tmobile to ATT (we have our reasons doing this before the merger). My dad chose to go with a touch screen phone. This is the first time he would use one.

He chose a non-smartphone because he simply didn't need the additional services a smartphone uses. He doesn't text, email or use Facebook. He just wanted a cool looking phone that was easy to answer when he got a call. His last phone was a Samsung slide phone.

We got home and I immediately started adding 20 contact numbers to it, for him. Afterwards, I charged it. After almost 5 hours of charging, it never seemed to reach 100%. It was always stuck at 80% so I took off the charger. I turned the phone back on and made some display changes for him and then turned it off.

Today is 2nd day with phone. He turns it on and WTF, screen of death comes on with some error. Can't exit out of it or turn off phone. Couldn't figure out how to remove battery so left on till ATT store opened at noon. They swapped it out with another new one. Got home, charged that to 100% (after 3 hours), added just 2 contacts to test. Put phone down (it was on) to wash the dishes, came back and WTFFFFFFFF????

PHONE BRICK! It will not turn on no matter if I take out the battery!!! Taking this damn phone back and telling them to give him something else that is NOT THIS MODEL! They better do it and not make him pay some stupid service charge or whatnot

Meanwhile, both my new phone and mom's new phone have been working fine!

Building gauge - shows where the technic pin bricks are and how wide the road is and the location of the center stripe. Plates on one side edge of the road and tiles on the other side edge. There are nine rows of bricks between the edge tile/plate and the center line plate.

I stopped by the old Worcester State Mental Hospital yesterday after donating platelets. I had a better zoom lens with me (previous pictures were with my 18-55mm kit lens and a Nikon Coolpix point and shoot). Check out the detail of the clock face in the larger sizes.

Torn sign on a wall in Zanesville, Ohio that says "Suspicious activity reported to police". I wonder if the suspicious activity included tearing up the sign.
