After all the bricks have fallen I assume these were brought into repair the holes but were never put up after the final decision to leave Hudepole abandoned.

This is the event that started it all for us. We organised an event for our son's school P&C way back in 2011.
We had a local car club join us with their cars, there was a Matchbox Collection and market stalls as well as the LEGO creations on display.
The event was so successful we have run the event every year since them. We changed the name this year [2016] to Brickfest @ the Bay and we continue to donate the funds raised to charity which this year was the Westpac Helicopter Rescue Service.

A bricked up tunnel in Billingham Beck Country Park, under the Durham Coast Line, originally part of the North Eastern Railway, which became the London and North Eastern Railway (LNER). The railway is high above this tunnel and I can not see what it was for.
The Railway Brick Museum, located in the former artisanal bakery in Leut (Maasmechelen), is Belgium's first museum dedicated entirely to LEGO bricks and is one of the few in Europe. Its unique focus centers around the extensive history of LEGO trains, spanning over 50 years of production and design. The museum's name directly reflects this core collection, combining the concept of "Railway" with the "Brick" material that makes up its fascinating displays.
Visitors can explore a collection that showcases all generations of LEGO trains, integrated into large and detailed lay-outs that often feature corresponding LEGO cities and sets from the same time period. Beyond the railway theme, the museum diversifies its exhibits with intricate lay-outs built around various other LEGO themes. These range widely, including worlds such as Harry Potter, seasonal winter landscapes, amusement parks, and Wild West scenes, ensuring there is something to capture the interest of every visitor.
A key interactive feature of the museum is the ability for visitors to bring the displays to life. Throughout the exhibits, buttons are provided that allow guests to personally activate the trains and other moving objects within the themed scenes. Furthermore, a section of the museum undergoes a transformation multiple times a year, hosting rotating temporary exhibitions. These showcases, often featuring themes like space or historical landmarks, draw on collections from other enthusiasts or feature objects specially built by the museum's own team, providing a reason for repeat visits.
Designed to be a welcoming and engaging experience for all ages, the museum offers several family-friendly elements. Children can participate in an optional treasure hunt or quiz throughout the displays, which is rewarded with a small LEGO gift upon completion. The facility also includes dedicated building areas for hands-on play, a mini cinema featuring a film on LEGO history, a tastefully decorated bar for refreshments, and a shop offering new and second-hand LEGO sets.
