Breakfast time for an Ashy Prinia
Also known as Ashy Wren-Warbler.
Scientific Name : Prinia socialis
Ashy Prinia is a small bird, that normally has its tail upright. Very common around grasslands and lakes. It's fast, and quite surprisingly loud. It was when shooting this bird, I got this shot.
Shot at Hebbal Lake, Bangalore.
Birds at Hebbal Lake are quite used to photographers. You will find a lot of Prinias, Sunbirds, Flower peckers, Bulbuls, and if you are careful about how you approach the bird, will be able to get quite close.

And because nothing beats sleeping outdoors... I set off to the campsite with a 2-day bike touring trip from home :)
