Jamies Italian at London Gatwick and a very large full English Breakfast. Freshly cooked delicious and a good start to the day.

Today we had a pepfest at school! It's always fun to shout "1, 2!" (our graduating year, 2012) at everyone, yell "Freshman suck, freshman suck!", and watch a 4-minuete basket ball then dodgeball game of the most athetic, gorgeous senior men (and some women played too.)
After school I bought a box of Reeses Puffs, my favorite cereal. I loooove cereal! And my dad never buys sugary cereal, so I had to treat myself to this. :)
Then I bought heels for my dance tomorrow! I'm so excited to go. :)
After that I took a million pictures with my 10 year old sister, but i chose this picture instead because the pictures of me and her only look good with high contrast and sooo many of my pictures are high contrast already.
Not all of my day was good, but it ended well. I hope yours was good too. :)

I made these delicious spiced pancakes with apple syrup, butter and topped with whipped cream. Served with a side of crispy bacon.

I consider this a "comfort food", my mother used to make this for my sister & I. I use super hearty wholewheat bread & only small amount of oil in the pan but this still tastes as yummy as it used to. Here in Mexico the mangos have arrived back in the stores~they are wonderful & juicy too!

Apologies to all my wonderful contacts for lack of comments and visits on my part, but real life is constantly intruding and posting and running is all I'm able to manage these past few months. I do try to visit your photostreams regularly, but I'm afraid that a "fave" is all I'm managing of late - so sorry!
"Premiere petit déjeuner au Québec"
Can you believe that all this (including coffee with unlimited refills) was only 5 dollars? This was my first-ever breakfast in the province of Quebec (though only technically, being mere minutes from Ottawa), in a nice little diner only a short walk from my sister's place on Tuesday December 16th 2008. It was yummy. Very filling and I'm getting hungry just looking at it again...mmm...food porn.
It was good fuel for walking around in Ottawa later that day. I attempted to use what little French I knew with the waitress for courtesy's sake (stuff like "oui" and "merci" lol), but I don't think I really needed to. :)
Under Secretary of the Army Joseph W. Westphal discusses Army Transformation, Business Transformation and Army Equipment Modernization during Government Executive Leadership Briefing's "Fireside Chats", Oct. 10, 2012, at the National Press Club, Washington, DC. The moderated forum included government and defense industry executives and discussions on the impact of sequestration on Army programs, current operations in Afghanistan, business transformation initiatives, and posturing the Army for the future. Under Secretary Westphal underscored the importance of Army initiatives to address suicide (Ready and Resilient), fiscal challenges and the Army's commitment to Soldiers and leader development to meet current and future requirements. “We really have to focus on our people. They are our strength. The first thing we have to do as we transition to a smaller force, and into a force of a future, is invest in these individuals. We will maintain the best educated Army in history and it's critical that we continue making investments to ensure that in the future,” Westphal commented. Government Executive Leadership Briefings are a moderated breakfast-time event that are hosted by the Government Executive Media Group. The forum is designed to promote open discussions amongst federal and industry leaders about current issues. (U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt. Bernardo Fuller)
A few of the whimsical "tombstones" outside of Phantom Manor, the Disneyland Paris take on the classic Disney "Haunted Mansion."
Phantom Manor ditches most of the overt humor and goofiness of the Haunted Mansion in favor of a spookier feeling overall, that also ties in with the back stories of the surrounding Frontierland and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. The Wikipedia article has a really nice overview: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phantom_Manor
