I drop some blueberries in my yogurt to add to the blueberry flavor and vitamins since there isn't any vitamin C in blueberry yogurt. #BreakfastTime #HFF #BlueberryDrop #Blueberries&Yogurt #drop #HeidelbeerenUndJoghurt #MyrtillesEtYaourt #fruit&dairy #FlickrFriday #78

Ever thought of getting you a healthy multigrain bread with a slice of cheese for breakfast? If not...you might need to consider that.

Cheese is packed with nutrition and can serve as a healthy addition to just about any meal. It's packed with protein, fat, and calcium as well as other essential vitamins.

If you are not allergic to milk protein, enjoying cheese every day is probably fine—and may offer potential health benefits when eaten in moderation.

In Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Germany, the Netherlands, and Poland, breakfast changes once again. Prepare for cold meats and cheeses, loads of warm, freshly baked bread, and an assortment of preserves and jams.

Thank you for visits, comments and favs!

Chipmunk enjoying his breakfast. The rascal stuffs his mouth with peanuts to take away to his/her nest, and then eats his breakfast before departing. Each morning we feed Chipmunks, Squirrels, and Birds and they entertain us with their antics.

The Chipmunk

by Ogden Nash

My friends all know that I am shy,

But the chipmunk is twice and shy and I.

He moves with flickering indecision

Like stripes across the television.

He's like the shadow of a cloud,

Or Emily Dickinson read aloud.

The squirrels were hungry this morning!

And where is my breakfast ?

How do I get there ? It's breakfasttime...

I did a lot of low viewpoint photo's when I was in London just after New Year so wanted to do something a little different for this weeks theme.

Now I'm not sure if I woke up hungry this morning but when I did, knew I wanted to do something with food for this weeks theme.

One boiled egg later, here we are, and the bonus about doing any kind of food photography is........... the snack that's ready the minute you finish.

I'm seeing some great images in the photo pool and love seeing everyone's interpretation of the themes.

Just a hungry squirrel having it's breakfast yesterday in Christchurch Park in Ipswich!

Well, they were freshly baked on Sunday morning. Cinnamon Swirls, just before the were drizzled in icing.

We found these Pied Kingfishers by accident on Sunday. It was hubby's monthly ski boat fishing comp yesterday and we decided to try a different fishing spot on the bay. So glad we did as we got to see an Osprey, Giant Heron's, Pied Kingfishers, Egrets, Cormorants and Pelicans. The tide was out so I couldn't get as close as I would have liked but it was great to see such a variety of birdlife near the mangroves.

Thanks for stopping by :)

There is nothing like a drop of runny honey on your porridge in a morning. I have to watch my weight so I only use a tea spoon. "A Spoonful" "Macro Mondays"

(two more in-flight photos in the comments)

*********************************************************************************

The Roseate Spoonbill is a wading bird of the ibis and spoonbill family. This species feeds in shallow fresh or coastal waters by swinging its bill from side to side as it steadily walks through the water, often in groups. The spoon-shaped bill allows it to sift easily through mud. It feeds on crustaceans, aquatic insects, frogs, newts and very small fish ignored by larger waders. The Roseate Spoonbill nests in shrubs or trees, often mangroves, laying 2 to 5 eggs, which are whitish with brown markings. Immature birds have white, feathered heads, and the pink of the plumage is paler ~ Florida's NE Coast
