This week the theme is "Break The Rules". For my first picture I have this uninteresting picture of my parent's house. From this picture, you cannot tell this is my parent's house. You really don't know for sure it is a house. It could be any brick building.
Make your pictures interesting.
Struggling today, about to go to Inverness, took a quick photo of the lenses I'm using for the 365 challange, decided to put them on an angle to make the shot a bit more interesting, looks like they are ready to slide off to the left.

Focus on the birthday girl, not the cake. Don't worry I have plenty that did not break this rule.

Breaking The Rules
Where do I begin with this picture? Bright sun pictures are difficult. More importantly, you have to have everyone looking at the camera during a group picture. At today's elementary graduation, there were too many distractions.
I 'broke the rules' by not having the lens attached to the camera. I was using the Lens Whacking technique.

The gray of this winter is getting oppressive. This week we were invited to "Break the Rules". Trying to make intentional rule breaking artistic or attractive was really a challenge. My imagination wasn't up to it.
Compositionally Challenged Group theme for Week "Break the Rules". Out of focus and cut ears off top! That is two broken rules for sure. The photo is a rare white chipmunk that I hoped to capture with my new Fujifilm Fine Pix S700. A neighbor did not want it any more and was kind to give it to me. Has 10X zoom which am excited to put to use. Trying to learn how to used the various modes with not so good results. Found on Google: "The dilute white chipmunk, which are white with five faint cream stripes, are a true recessive mutation. These chipmunks should not be confused with albinos (the second variation) which are pure white with pink eyes." My Sony DSC T900 has 12.1Mega Pixels so was able to crop the photo as shown in my photostream few weeks ago with better result.
