Robins are not afraid of people, like other small birds. I often see a robin right on the path in front of the house. And even when our cat is in the garden, a robin flies there.

Thank you for visits. favs and comments, it's greatly appreciated

Une petite ascension de 4m à la corde raide pour cette chenille de 5cm,

Today the Michigan lake has waves after a whole day of rain. In a free moment, I took this picture at dusk.

The Hypothetical Awards.... Strange & Unusual Worlds & Creatures

Brave heart is the title that immediately came to mind when I looked at this image.

I was able to capture the interaction between Spotted Hyena at just the right moment: the mock charge of the adult and the reaction of the cub.

Hope you will enjoy this photo.

[Morning Glory]

Cold hearted orb that rules the night,

Removes the colours from our sight,

Red is grey and yellow white,

But we decide which is right,

And which is an illusion.

Pinprick holes in a colourless sky

Let insipid figures of light pass by;

The mighty light of ten thousand suns

Challenges infinity and is soon gone.

Night time, to some a brief interlude,

To others the fear of solitude.

Brave Helios, wake up your steeds,

Bring the warmth the countryside needs.

This photo gives absolutely no clues as to the meteorological conditions of the moment. The succulent plants suggest warmth, heat even, and the joyful crocus suggests a balmy springtime day, but nothing could be further from the truth. Temperatures were just hovering on freezing yesterday but this brave lone crocus growing up amongst my windowsill succulents responded to the weak afternoon sunshine and opened up determined to have its moment of glory in spite of the fact that Spring is still a very long time away and Arctic conditions relentlessly predominate.

Conductor Dewayne Piche is riding the steps about to bail off at Trout Lake on December 18, 1990. 713, 3011 and 585 have a little yard work and as soon as a couple switches are dug out and the set out is made they will head east into the early twilight of a dark December afternoon.

Hey everyone! I had an amazing time shooting Brad and Grace's "Brave" concept! They have the most amazing ideas and know how to execute them to the last detail!

I wish i knew how to explain all the emotions i am feeling about having spent 3 days with the most amazing, kind, loving, and creative people on this earth but every time i start to think about all of them i get all teary. I am truly blessed to be a part of something so special.

To all of my family i can only say this...YOLO :)

Only the strongest can dance in the west coast

Today I did something a bit out of my comfort Zone. I was in the woods looking at potentially my future home site, Where I might be growing old someday. With very little fear or anxiety... wink emoticon I was thinking to myself HOLY SHIT!!I am in the middle of the woods. What the F%@$? Yes I was proud and surprised at How brave I can be!!! :)♥

Another Devon coastline storm surge battering the newly completed railway/sea defences repairs at Dawlish. If the drivers of trains get used to experiencing these conditions I am pretty sure the passengers don't.

This wave photographed earlier this year is well over 120 ft high.

Lago di Piana degli Albanesi, Palermo (IT)

Taken at Volcanoes National Park in Hawaii last August. When I saw this landscape, I instantly thought of Mordor from Lord of the Rings and was inspired to take this photo. I also discovered lava rocks are razor sharp when walking across them barefooted.

Nala is adjusting to her new world very well. She and her sister are very relaxed and play a lot. When it's time to recover, they both hide under the couch for a quick nap.

I am a colorful kind of a photographer painter ... but when I get brave and edit for B&W, I always love it! Don't know why I hesitate ... my world just needs all the bright and glorious color I can get me thinks!

Braving the heat, I decided to go out and get 1253 Yennora - Glenlee trip train. Here 1253 is seen passing through Sefton behind a Bulldog & EMD classic, 42107. Monday 11th January 2016.

I was kind of nervous when i did this photo. Behind them, the Choluteca River and the Pacific Ocean. Thanks for the visit, greetings from the South of Honduras.

I watched this Egret walk directly towards the Alligator, thinking the gator was going to eat it. But the little bird walked up and around the predator without harm.
