It's been a long time since I took a photo for myself, just for fun and I'm really happy with the result.
First of all happy new year, I wish you all the best in the world and I have faith that this 2022 comes with many beautiful things for everyone after such a painful year for many.
I thank everyone who is concerned about my mom's health, she is doing great! Cancer free thanks to the surgery.
As with everything after such an extensive expense it's time to pay off loans and debts so I'm still super available to take your commissions for photos and ADs.

Since May 2021, the SNCF competes directly with RENFE Operadora on the Madrid-Barcelona route through its low-cost brand Ouigo. For this service, nine Euroduplex trainsets (807-812, 815, 816 and 819) have been adapted. Unlike the French Ouigo trains, the Spanish ones are predominantly white. 808 and 807 have left Madrid-Atocha about an hour ago and still have almost two hours to go until the terminus at Barcelona-Sants. Brand new RLHH 2111 leads a late running SOR 595 through Hagersville on their way to Garnet on a cold and snowy afternoon.

Lovely to see this foal running around with a group of horses in The New Forest. These ponies are wild and graze all over the forest. They are owned by commoners of the forest. To be allowed to graze your stock on the forest you have to own land so you can bring the animals in if required. There are approximately five thousand ponies grazing on the forest.
I noticed this scene a few weeks ago as I drove past the store after the sun had set. What captured my attention was the contrast between the bold, artificial glow of the yellow disk in the store's sign and the gentle and serene natural sunset colours in the sky behind. It almost feels like the already-set sun is replaced by the yellow disk.
Up at a good time, eat breakfast and out the door before the hour. Yesterday it was pouring rain, and traffic was pretty bad. Today is the opposite, I'm feeling refreshed and determined, it's a brand new day in Tokyo.
So this is my third upload from Miyashita Park. What can I say? This place had multiple angles both day and night to shoot. This was after my shot of the Tower Records building across the train tracks. After successfully getting that architecture shot I was wondering what else I could do with a train motion blur, what other angles I could get.
There was an izakaya further down the street (that I would shoot later that night) but I couldn't line it up from my elevated position, on the other hand, I couldn't get the train from the ground. You could also barely make out the Shibuya scramble on the left.
Ultimately this shot still isn't a very neat composition so I had to mess with the lighting in multiple spots when it was time to edit. Particularly, the sakura, the street, and the train. Meanwhile darkening the buildings and sky in the back, not just because they weren't the subject, but to dim the pesky overexposed sky (didn't have a bracketed frame, cause I didn't know if this was uploadable at first or not). After a longer session with my software, I was able to make this look like an optimistic morning shot. Hope y'all have a good day.
Probably get this spectacularly wrong, as I'm useless with dragons, but maybe a common darter? Anyway, I love seeing them with their extra shiny wings like this!

Brand new Milwaukee Road SDL39 589 pauses at Bensenvillle, Illinois on November 24, 1972. Following the recent release of the Scaletrains Museum Quality SDL39 in HO scale, there has been some debate as to whether the model rides too high on its trucks. To me, the model passes the eyeball test, because I see a pretty big gap between the frame and the top of the truck sideframe, not including the jack pad. It's already becoming difficult to take a shot of this that looks a bit different, but I thought I'd head over to Canary Wharf on a Saturday night and give it a go whilst out on the Advanced Photographer 24 hour London photo walk.

Middle East - GCC - United Arab Emirates - UAE - Dubai - Dubai Marina - Artificial canal city with sky high modern buildings along the sea shore
Dubai is a city with rather interesting layout. It currently has the highest building in the world - the Burj Khalifa and several high sky buildings around it, then about 25km of "nothing" in form of one or two stories small houses along the coast and then comes this brand new high sky area of marina with mainly residental buildings. It is not the easiest area to photograph as you are always too close to too high buildings, the only time when you can capture this place properly is from the top of one of the highest buildings, which is extremely difficult to get access to, especially now after several serious fires in some buildings, including the famous luxury hotel "The Address" that caught serious fire on the New Year's evening. Luckily no fire went on the day I was up at this amazing view, just lovely last rays of light falling on top of those buildings before sunset.
