This is research we are doing to determine the style & design of our upcoming book on business model innovation...
The introduction for this AIGA book begins with an excerpt from “Homage to the Book”, written by Frederick B. Adams, Jr. (former director of the Morgan Library).
This text is very interesting to read in 2008, when the exact future of books is in question. The opener begins with the question “Is the Book Dying?”
I would love to get a hold of this full book...but its quite pricey. But, “Homage to the Book” is also a winning entry in the AIGA Fifty Books 1968 volume.

This is an advance copy of Pickathonography, the book I designed and produced in collaboration with photographer Tim LaBarge this spring. The printer we worked with on this book is so accurate with color that the experience of receiving the printed book is a lot different than it used to be years ago. Instead of finding out what the book looks like in print, you find out that the book looks just like you thought it did! This is, of course, very convenient, though it removes a bit of the thrill of receiving the printed piece. The spine, though... the spine is still a surprise. And this one turned out just how I wanted it to.

Mark Kuhn established the All Iowa Lawn Tennis Club in 2003. Mark was inspired by the story of the mythical Iowa farmer in the movie "Field of Dreams", and because of his life long love of tennis and specifically Wimbledon. In fact, the grass tennis court is a replica of Wimbledon's Centre Court and was featured in an article for Tennis Magazine.
Mark recently had the unique opportunity to intern with the ground staff at Wimbledon to dress a court for Championship play in 2011. This book (Never Forget Your Dreams, The Journey from the All Iowa Lawn Tennis Club to Wimbledon's Centre Court) chronicles those memorable experiences.
