I was sitting outside the cafe waiting for Phill. This starling came and sat right in front of me with a "well what have you got in the way of food" look on his face
A neighbour down the block has some bold yellow flowers in their front yard. Gunnar and I had to stop by and take a few shots (Gunnar just sniffed them actually).
There are two Disney Store Limited Edition Brave items that were first noticed on the US Disney Store website on May 14, 2012, but were not part of the new arrivals group. In fact, when they were first noticed (by browsing on keyword 'brave') they were both already sold out. By next day, they were already not searchable by keyword (but the pages were still viewable via a direct link or product code). I wonder whether these were actually for sale at some earlier date, or are merely placeholders for a future release.

There's a nice flock of chickens at Joppa Hill Educational Farm, and they're free to wander the property. They're sometimes fed by visitors, and this Buff Orpington suspected I had food.
Well friends, after quite some time, I managed to scrape together enough pennies to buy the New Canon 5D Mark11...I was so excited that I called my girlfriend home in Newfoundland to tell her my news...well...I decided to purchase four return tickets for next week to my hometown for me my family instead of the new camera :)
I can wait a little longer for it.

Bit of the back story: One of her daughters kept saying she didn’t like her Afro hair and wanted it to be more like mum’s, which was chemically relaxed at the time. So mum decided to start her natural hair journey by shaving off her hair to show her children that natural Afro hair is indeed beautiful. Loved capturing this portrait to celebrate her!
I felt totally ripped off. No jets flying overhead in formation... No Skydivers landing in the middle of the stadium. The first Bolder Boulder I actually attend and none of the stuff happened that happens every year.
"Boldly" - By the end of Summer, the baby lizards are fully grown and the once flowering butterfly bush is a bit less colorful. This lizard curiously and boldly inched closer to me even as I inched closer to it.

Interesting enough, that "highlight" thingy is actually a glitch that occurs when I don't use the fit screen option from the tools and I found out very recently that was the issue (though on Win 7 this setting unfortunately makes the console disappear). Usually I can't stand it because it creates a horrible gap between the character and the background effects like DOF or fog, but in this case I actually like it. It sorta makes it look like a digital illustration, so I went for it.
