Well friends, after quite some time, I managed to scrape together enough pennies to buy the New Canon 5D Mark11...I was so excited that I called my girlfriend home in Newfoundland to tell her my news...well...I decided to purchase four return tickets for next week to my hometown for me my family instead of the new camera :)
I can wait a little longer for it.

Bit of the back story: One of her daughters kept saying she didn’t like her Afro hair and wanted it to be more like mum’s, which was chemically relaxed at the time. So mum decided to start her natural hair journey by shaving off her hair to show her children that natural Afro hair is indeed beautiful. Loved capturing this portrait to celebrate her!

Leake Street Tunnel is one of London’s coolest street art spots. Tucked away underneath Waterloo station, it’s an ever-changing canvas of colourful murals.
Leake Street graffiti tunnel is one of London’s not-so-hidden gems. This 300 metre tunnel is the city’s largest legal wall and has been a bastion of London’s street art scene since 2008.
Leake Street Tunnel wasn’t always a legal wall. Before 2008 it was just a dank and grimy tunnel squirreled beneath Kings Cross Station.
That all changed when British street art superstar Banksy (yes, the Banksy) decided to hold a street art festival called Cans Festival down in the tunnel.
Banksy invited the biggest and brightest names on the international street art scene to come down and put up a piece of work in the tunnel. And that was it – Leake Street was no longer dank and grimy, but instead a bold, colourful and cool place where artists could showcase their work.
Since then, Leake Street graffiti tunnel has been flying the flag for the London street art scene. The fact that this is a legal wall means that artists can work in peace and that no two visits are ever the same.
Leake Street Tunnel is a short walk away from Waterloo Station. It takes about five minutes to walk it from the station via York Road.

Bright and bold Zinnia flower stands out in the Spring garden. Happy Mother's Day to all the bright and bold Moms out there.
It’s always nice when you can get up close and personal with the goslings. Extremely successful at living in human-altered areas, Canada geese have proven able to establish breeding colonies in urban and cultivated areas, which provide food and few natural predators. The success of this common park species has led to its often being considered a pest species because of their depredation of crops and their noise, droppings, aggressive territorial behavior, and habit of begging for food (caused by human hand feeding). This little Gosling was not afraid of us and approached, even though we had our dog in tow.
2020 Weekly Alphabet Challenge, Week 2, B for Bold
I think these anthurium flowers are examples of the boldest flowers there are because of their shape, texture and colours. I got them as a present last week and hope to keep them strong for a while. The green with pink and white one is my favourite.
