wanted a shot like this for the longest time, would have loved a black&white one, but this seemed better in my opinion.

Decided to give my new kenner raven a new body since her original body lost its bottom and the crack on her body is so big and it cannot support takara legs.
Got a Takara body and started sawing her neck to insert a new 'Kenner Like' plastic neck.

I'm counting on hearts like yours
to keep me burning,
to keep me up
'til two in the morning.
You be bright
when I'm starting to rust,
you be 'Why?'
behind the 'What?'
Indeed, some things are not as they seem. Us cats on the 'walks, you could say we are holding onto yesterday's dreams. But you know what? Some things are very much worth fighting for. The life of the cats ruling the rooftops and catwalks, that was something we took to the grave with us. Now, only embers remain cycled through the dust of the ages. Yet, if you listen closely, you may hear the subtle purring flutter through the night sky. Maybe the hairs on the back of your neck may raise, as if indicating that some predator is toying with you as their prey. That shiver you feel on the rooftop during the night, can you be certain that it is merely a subtle cool breeze, or could there be something calling out from nights of the depths of the past to remind you that you were not always safe to be up here? Maybe you still are not, and some ghost during the twilight stalks you and seeks to give you a fright, and remind you of those cats who used to live and fight for their right to rule the rooftops they once called home.
But I will never let go,
never let up my hold,
'cause I know
once you feel it
you can't unfeel it.
once you dream it
you can't undream it.
These dragonflies are usually seen in the south of England. I photographed this one to-day at a reserve near Harrogate. They are moving north as the climate warms.
Inhabited Body
Body on a horizon of water,
body open
to the slow intoxication of fingers,
body defended
by the splendour of apples,
surrendered hill by hill,
body lovingly made moist
by the tongue’s pliant sun.
Body with the taste of cropped grass
in a secret garden,
body where I am at home,
body where I lie down
to suck up silence,
to hear
the murmur of blades of grain,
to breathe
the deep dark sweetness of the bramble bush.
Body of a thousand mouths,
all tawny with joy,
all ready to sip,
ready to bite till a scream
bursts from the bowels
and mounts to the towers
and pleads for a dagger.
Body for surrendering to tears.
Body ripe for death.
Body for imbibing to the end –
my ocean, brief
and white,
my secret vessel,
my propitious wind,
my errant, unknown,
endless navigation.

Corpo Habitado
Corpo num horizonte de água,
corpo aberto
à lenta embriaguez dos dedos,
corpo defendido
pelo fulgor das maçãs,
rendido de colina em colina,
corpo amorosamente humedecido
pelo sol dócil da língua.
Corpo com gosto a erva rasa
de secreto jardim,
corpo onde entro em casa,
corpo onde me deito
para sugar o silêncio,
ouvir
o rumo das espigas,
respirar
a doçura escuríssima das silvas.
Corpo de mil bocas,
e todas fulvas de alegria,
todas para sorver,
todas para morder até que um grito
irrompa das entranhas,
e suba às torres,
e suplique um punhal.
Corpo para entregar às lágrimas.
Corpo para morrer.
Corpo para beber até ao fim –
meu oceano breve
e branco,
minha secreta embarcação
meu vento favorável,
minha vária, sempre incerta
navegação.
