For some reason my Nichelle head can’t look downwards on the MTM body so I decided to swap her head with my Malibu Christie hybrid who was using the Barbie Style Grace body. Both heads now seem to fit better on their new bodies so that’s good.
I did some other body swapping which left me with a Barbie Style body in the Neutra skin tone (which 2015-onwards Barbie uses) which is a much better match to my GG Tori head, freeing up her Fashionista body (which is LA tan) that I can use now for my incoming Mari doll from @elizabethplaid.
So yeah, my dolls all teeter on the edge of finding the right bodies despite proportions or skin tone matches lol. It means now my Generation Girls can at least all have similar jointed bodies and hand sculpts…

The first Body Worlds exhibition was held in Japan in 1995 and has since traveled to more than 100 cities worldwide.
Body Worlds Amsterdam opened in 2014 and is the only permanent exhibition of its kind. It focuses on the theme of happiness and how it affects the human body and health.

This was the second mall I visited on this trip. While the shopping experience here was obviously not as good as Jordan Creek, it was actually surprisingly good. In terms of shopping, this place definitely has a great selection of local stores. There was a neat record store near Bath and Body Works that had a pretty impressive selection. In terms of aesthetics, it’s definitely not great. Some parts feel like you’re walking through an airport rather than a mall. Some of the best “retro mall vibes” can be found by the food court if you ask me. However if you are familiar with the dead malls of Des Moines, there’s a much more impressive retro food court at the next mall.
I've made incredible progress with my body image in the last several months. I'm not sure what the shift is due to, really - I'm sure it's a bunch of tiny things that have just finally all come together.
In any case, I feel good. I feel happy. And that's definitely a start.
