Body Rafting adalah aktivitas pengarungan sungai dengan menggunakan tubuh atau badan kita sebagai perahu dan kemudinya mengarungi jeram dan riam dengan pengaman diri yang memadai berupa life jacket, helm dan pelindung kaki.

Posisi badan tidak seperti sedang berenang, melainkan terbalik dengan posisi kaki dibagian depan dan kepala dan tangan sebagai kemudinya dan menjaga keseimbangan saat memasuki jeram dan arus liar.

di sekitar Pangandaran, cukup banyak lokasi yang bisa digunakan untuk aktivitas ini, salah satu yang paling populer adalah di Cukang Taneuh atau Green Canyon. Dua lokasi lain yang tergolong baru adalah Gua Situmang atau Green valley dan Curug Taringgul atau Green Coral.

Two Rolls Royce engines end to end for Sheffield hills!

With chassis made by Dennis in Guildford, Surrey, body built by Alexanders in Falkirk, Scotland and fitted with a Rolls Royce engine to cope with Sheffield's hills, the new bus entered service with South Yorkshire PTE in May 1983, receiving fleet number 2281.

The original livery was South Yorkshire's Tan and Cream. The new bus was allocated to Sheffield's Herries Road garage.

She became Mainline 2281 in June 1993 and was subsequently re-painted into Mainline livery of red and yellow with silver and blue bands above the 'skirt'. The company was sold to its employees on November 18th 1994, becoming Mainline Group Ltd. Mainline joined the First Group in July 1998, becoming First Mainline and then on March 24th 2003, First South Yorkshire.

First Group had embarked on a national renumbering scheme and 2281 became 30430 on February 27th 2003, only to be withdrawn shortly afterwards.

The newly renumbered 30430 passed to Houston Ramm, the Heywood, Lancashire dealer in June 2003, destined for the Barnsley scrap yards - in line with First Group policy not to allow their buses to be sold on for further passenger carrying service.

City Church Sheffield had been looking for a suitable vehicle and First Group gave Houston Ramm permission to sell it to them on condition that it would not be used or sold on as a service bus. The bus was then delivered back to Sheffield in July 2003.

Since then much help has been given by First South Yorkshire at Rotherham and by other volunteers to bring the bus back to a roadworthy condition and to prepare it for its new role. During much of this time it has been housed at the Sheffield Bus Museum at Tinsley.

The aim is to equip the bus with a coffee-bar downstairs and a lounge area on the upper deck. It will then be used in and around Sheffield in connection with the many activities of the church.

And it was!! It was very useful and a great resource too!

Dec. 11, 2019, we welcomed home Soldiers from 2nd Battalion 4th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Battalion 2nd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Squadron 89th Cavalry Regiment, 5th Battalion 25 Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Battalion 30th Infantry Regiment, and 317th BEB with a ceremony at the MEB Gym on Fort Polk. The Soldiers were returning home from a four-month operational deployment.

So the SID body I intended for Estie got snatched up by Tami.

I only put her on there to check proportions with Supergem heads... and lo and behold the match is pretty close. The body is a little darker but considering the body is a very yellowed Iplehouse normal skin and Tami is an old Soom Cream White Dia, I'm taking it :D

My luck stretched even further and I'm very lucky to have found work again this past week meaning I can simply save up for the nYID body I always wanted for Estie in the first place!

Yay!
