This boat is currently undergoing some work in the yard. The houses from across the river seem to be almost on top of the scene. In recent years this yard has also serviced the well known Searoad Queenscliff-Portsea Ferry. It was able to get up the shallow river at high tide because it has a low draft.
Not for keeping your boat in, but perhaps some of the things you use on your boat, but don't want to leave laying around on your boat.

Another one of three boats on this nice reflective loch.
We fly into iceland tomorrow so hopefully some nice new landscapes!
Boat-billed herons are widely distributed along the coast and mangrove swamps from Mexico to Brazil, most of the time they hide behind twigs and leaves, so lucky i found a window to get an almost clean shot of it. Oaxaca, Mexico
Standing on a dock, looking down at the water, seeing the reflection of a boat garage opposite the dock (green metal siding, white door, blue canvas. The lighter blue is the water (reflecting the blue sky). Squalicum Harbor, Bellingham, Washington. Ripples are natural, not post processed.
It probably works best seen large if you can
l am reasonably confidant that this bird is a Boat Tailed Grackle, certainly it fits the image in my guide to Louisiana birds . There are two other similar grackles but the colour of this bird seems a perfect match for a Boat Tailed.
Obviously if any of my American contacts think I am wrong then please advise me . I noticed the bird when it made its unusual call.
The shot was taken in a boat on Lake Martin in Southern Louisiana and was of course hand held
THANKS FOR YOUR VISIT AND FOR TAKING THE TIME TO WRITE A COMMENT IT’S MUCH APPRECIATED AND SO MUCH MORE INTERESTING THAN JUST GIVING A FAVE

Last year Boat Show Video, I guess the organisers didn't like it as they never e-mailed back
This image was shot on New Years Day as I walked a wonderful short trek over South Stainmore. The images looks across Jims old boat, parked behind his former farmhouse. Sadly Jim passed a few years ago, but I ventured to see his widow and son on other matters. As I left this amazingly wonderful place, I took this image, it was as if the sky opened up to show me his old boat, which once upon a time treaded water on Ullswater, with both my inlaws onboard.
Shot on Leica X, visioflex 020, and in high contrast output.
