A few young guys were playing around (taking photos / video clips) with these paper boats in the breakwater of the East Cost Park Precinct.
This photo let me remember of the old Cantonese song 《紙船》 [Paper Boat], released in 1982, by the famous Hong Kong Cantopop singer / songwriter / actor Sam Hui ( 許冠傑).

[Paper Boat]
Composed/lyrics by Sam Hui (1982).
Lyrics (an unofficial English translation from internet, not singable):
Walking pass the seaside, ( I ) see a small boat
Remind me of that person, thousands of miles away, make me feel sad inside
(Image of) her who is in foreign land rush into my mind
How to make our hearts connect
Pick up a piece of paper and fold a little boat
Gently lay it down on the water
Clear my mind, close my eyes and make a wish
(Watching) the little (paper) boat quickly floats afar
I hope the (paper) boat could fulfill this wish of mine
Tirelessly travel long way away
Straight to her side
Only hope to see her once
if she finally see a paper boat
Drifting in circle endlessly in her dream
Hope she could cherish the meaning of it
Together, let's make our hearts connect

At Skye Museum of Island Life, Kilmuir, Isle of Skye.
Boats have played an important role in the island life of Skye for centuries. These boats are typical of late nineteenth century fisherman's boats, although I am not sure they would have sported such colorful paint.
Take care and remain positive! Thanks for stopping by and for all of your kind comments, awards and faves -- I appreciate them all.

A woman rows her wooden boat on the river at Hoi-An. this is a traditional method of transport but also used for tourism.
A small detour from a long journey just before the sun set on Monday led me to this peaceful location, bathed in autumnal colour.
He‘eia Kea Boat Harbor, Oahu Island
I had seen this harbor from a bus ride that runs round of the island. Once day I took off the bus on the way to a windward beach. The ride takes about four hours. You will the whole sparsely populated side of the island. When I first visited the island, this route was operated every half an hour. However, by my second visit, the number of services had been decreased to once an hour and bi-articulated buses ran instead.
You can see a tiny conic-shaped rock ahead on the horizon. It is named Chinaman's Hat. The island is described in Hawaiian mythology.
From now on, you don't need to travel all the way to Kashmir to enjoy the famous Shikara boat rides in the Dal Lake for Jharkhand’s tourism body has launched the boat rides at Upper Patratu Lake.
Thanks for visit, comments and awards

The Blakeney boat.
I've been taking photos of this boat for as long as I've lived in Norfolk and if you search for it on flickr you will find photos of it that go back decades to when the boat still had a deck. One day nature will win and it will be gone, but until then I'll keep on taking photos,
The boat can be found just off of the coastal footpath between Blakeney and Cley.
One of my favourite spots. Next to a little lake these boats are always there and make a good subject. More to come I am sure.
