A group of pix I made yesterday and last night in the rain have been added to my Sea Rock set.
These jays are normally wary and won't come into our feeding station, but an 8 degree morning requires calories to stay warm. Caution be damned.

This was one of my first shoots with the new D810 and the Sigma 50 1.4 Art.
Tried to get both nails and face in focus and keep the ISO low. Note: Even f5.6 at 50mm does not work 100 % to get both in focus...
