This was an attempt at capturing water movement .

Water in a fish tank (without the fish) moved about, with a blue light over head. It looks more like glass to me!

Blue-crowned Motmot at the US National Zoo in Washington DC

My wife's Hydrangea bushes continue to bloom late into the year. These beautiful blue blossoms are currently out on the bush at this moment and other newer ones continue to grow...amazing if you ask me but someone much greater than me is in charge!!

Late at night and the sun is just breaking through the sky in the horizon. Played around with white balance to get the blue cast. Also added som contrast in photoshop along with the usual sharpening. Also added an edge.

I took this shot of the moon through a dusty telescope my father had stowed away for far too long. We pulled it out and took a look at the rock orbiting our planet, and I got this shot. The blue touch makes it seem a tad more familiar, no?

Wisteria - Blauwe Regen

A re-release of an old photo with some fixes and a different aspect ratio.

Yesterday I’ve received by post my new lights and couldn’t resist not to try them out. Went down to one of my favourite locations – Dungeness in Kent. Moon was only 40% strong but I’ll be extremely busy coming week so this was the only time to go out.

This is a boat that I like the best and I’ve shot it many times before but never get enough of this angle:) Lit with white el-wire then blue gelled LED torch and purple gelled flash plus red LED glow stick.

Total time was 8 minutes at f/5.6 and ISO 400. If I would set up ISO 100 this image have to burn for another 24 minutes and it would be ruined by condensation onto my lens. SOOC.

MAM--theme blue... so I was playing with the new underwater camera I have--a cheapie that I hope to use snorkeling. It has to be better than those disposable film cameras you buy at the resorts... at any rate, a contact (Shelby's Trail) had taken a cool shot and I took this one... My original was closer to hers, but hers worked so much better. I've cropped it much tighter than I originally shot, but I have to admit, I didn't really like the original. To that end, I don't really like this one either, but what the hey!!!? btw, check out Shelby's Trail...

Blue Tit in flight

I forgot that Monday's color is blue! I have a huge backlog of flower pics that I've taken since vacation and will slowly get through. This is a balloon flower, growing in a pot. I've been sure it died back a few times but always seems to return!

13/52- Bathroom Macro - Blue Gel behind shower door

Chased this thunderhead around this evening. It dissipated when the light got better......sad face.

I will try this spot again when the clouds cooperate.

I took this in the highly decorated (and very blue) Kasbah des Oudaias in Rabat, Morocco. It's rather striking.

Not got much new stuff so another little blue :)

Look over yonder / what do you see

The sun is a-risin' / most definitely

A new day is comin' / people are changin'

Ain't it beautiful / crystal blue persuasion...

Blue is a colour, the perception of which is evoked by light having a spectrum dominated by energy with a wavelength of roughly 440–490 nm. It is considered one of the additive primary colours. On the HSV Colour Wheel, the complement of blue is yellow; that is, a colour corresponding to an equal mixture of red and green light. On a colour wheel based on traditional colour theory (RYB), the complementary colour to blue is considered to be orange (based on the Munsell colour wheel).[2] The English language commonly uses "blue" to refer to any colour from navy blue to cyan. The word itself is derived from the Old French word bleu.
