For this quarter of the 3x6 bee sewcraftyjess asked for a block using gray, green and yellow. She specified lime green and any shades of yellow. I definitely am lacking gray in my stash -- the one print I found was from Anna Maria Horner's Good Folks line (one of my favourite prints!) I really like adding solids to blocks so this ended up working out well with a couple of gray solids as well.
The block is based on the technique in Oh Fransson's Mod Mosaic Floor Pillow.

Colors: Navy, coral, yellow with a white background. Clearly, I fudged the background thing - I just liked it so much better with the blue on the outside. I think this one's my favorite of the five.

And I seriously want to make a whole quilt out of these. Swoon.

This paper-pieced block is "3 Layed Star" by Emedoodle of Mommy's Nap Time. The free tutorial to make this block is here.
I am using "jinny Beyer book "The Scraplook" from 1985 for the placement of the light , medium dark placement. I am having to fight with myself not to select blocks by colour, instead just looking at relative value. This method gives a more random disordered view to the blocks which i prefer to the neatly stacked "baby block design.

So I've had a cold for a couple of days and the worst thing about it is the fact that my nose is blocked all of the time.
When I'm in bed I feel like I'm suffocating. Then I have to breath through my mouth which dries my throat which means I need a drink, so I get my drink and my body goes "YEAH More fluid to put through the nose!" and so my nose gets worse!
Don't you wish you could just remove your nose, clean it out and put it back on? Job done! Or is that wishful thinking?
P.S Sorry if it's a little gross...it's kinda how my mind works!
P.P.S. This kind of fits in with the Teleidoscope theme "Blown away" as well which was just a coincidence!
