May flowers always line your path and sunshine light your day. May songbirds serenade you every step along the way. May a rainbow run beside you in a sky that's always blue. And may happiness fill your heart each day your whole life through.

I drew this for my idol Jessica Capshaw to say thank you for bringing Arizona Robbins to life for 10 years. She is one of my fav characters and definitely most memorable. And thank you for blessing us every day with your humor, talent and beautiful soul. I'm so proud of you and I'm so excited to see what's next for you. I will always support you in everything you do next.

p.s. Santa pulled through for me. First post shot from my new Nikon d90. I'm a bit overwhelmed --- coming from a d40. The new cam seems like a very serious camera. I'm not sure if I can live up to all its seriousness. Haha!
I named it Popoy.
And now I'm off to sleep, and will count my blessings, instead of sheep. :)
On the evening of April 15, 2017, Bishop David Walkowiak presided at the Easter Vigil Mass at the Cathedral of Saint Andrew, Grand Rapids. Father John Geaney, CSP, rector of the cathedral, Father René Constanza, CSP, executive director of the Catholic Information Center, and Father Bill Edens, CSP, associate pastor of the cathedral, concelebrated Mass with the bishop.
This Mass, which begins at night, includes the blessing of the Easter fire, a ceremony in which the paschal candle is lit from a fire outside the church called the new fire. The paschal candle is the symbol of the light of Christ, rising in glory, scattering the darkness of our hearts and minds. Also at this Mass, individuals who have completed their preparation through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults are baptized and/or received into full communion with the Church through celebration of the sacraments of confirmation and first holy Communion.
