Morning magic at marvelous Moraine Lake.
The bridge leading to the Emerald Lake Lodge with a reflection of Emerald Peak in the lake outlet. The Cilantro Restaurant and Coffee Shop is beckoning on the right. What a blessing it is to visit such beautiful places. This day was special as I shared this day with dear friend Sergio Lanza.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
An American traditional holiday to give thanks for our many blessings. My many blessings are too numerous to mention. However, one of my most dear and valued blessings is the friendships I've made here on flickr. You enrich my life, bringing smiles and joy every day with your beautiful images, travels, adventures, knowledge, information and continued support. Thank YOU!
While walking the grounds of Victoria's Hatley Castle I spied this beautiful maple with the sun backlighting it nicely. I have admired other shots of similar autumn maples and always wanted to get a shot like this.
Today in America we celebrate Thanksgiving, counting our many blessings, joining with loved ones and dear friends as we enjoy favorite foods, shared memories, many hugs and counting our many blessings. My favorite holiday.
One of my special blessings is all of YOU who have shared my journeys, enjoyed my visual souvenirs from them and experiences. The wows, smiles and chuckles your images bring me are too numerous to count. Your gracious comments and support make my day. THANK YOU for enriching and enhancing my life.
Happy Thanksgiving!
'... Così li benedirete : direte loro : Ti benedica il Signore e ti custodisca..

Il Signore rivolga a te il suo volto e ti conceda la pace...'

The Lord bless you
and keep you,
the Lord make his face shine
on you
and be gracious to you
and the Lord turn his face
towards you
and give you peace....

blessing of Cossack. Without the blessing of God, no matter can not have success. Blessing involves the transfer of real power. It can powerfully influence the lives of those who have received the blessing. The kissing of the priest’s hand, which occurs when he gives the cross and blesses, has a special spiritual and moral significance. Receiving grace from God through the cross or priestly blessing, a person mentally kisses the invisible hand of God, which gives him this grace..The Cossacks of Russia, first of all, are the Cossacks, who appeared on the Don, the Lower Volga and the Urals.
The first official mention in Russian sources of the "Cossacks" refers to the XVI century.

"May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
May the rains fall soft upon your fields."
Dear Flickr-friends, thank you so much for your precious time, your appreciated attention and all the inspiration you gave me during this year! Have a wonderful start of a happy New Year. See you in 2017!
Learn to get in touch with the silence within yourself, and know that everything in life has purpose. There are no mistakes, no coincidences, all events are blessings given to us to learn from.

Well they were testing conditions to start with, and I took this before any sunlight appeared and with wet underpants. The cloud had just lifted off the distant mountains, the Langdale Pikes, and the view was beginning to open up for me as the breeze slowly dried my nethers.
I can't deny it is a great view from Holme Fell, out over the slate quarry workings of Hodge Close and to the North West. I just needed some splashes of sunlight rather than the lashing rain and hail that came to soak me again, several times over.
My tribute to wonderful and "not-well known" country - TADJIKISTAN. This country with a long history, rich national culture, amazing handcraft and art. I bet, you know nothing about Tadjikistan, neither no one creator in SL doesn't make such national cloth. This country NEVER been represented on fashion runways or pageants.
**************
TADJIKISTAN ia warm country, there never been hard snowfalls or frozen nature. With my magic, I mix Southern and Northern color shades: golden and blue.
My deep respect to National costumes and stylings I try to recreate with modern fashion touches and my artistic vision.
Happy New Year and Blessings!
I just got crazy!
But..............
A blessing, (also used to refer to bestowing of such) is the infusion of something with holiness, spiritual redemption, divine will, or one's hope or approval.
Giving THANKS today for all the blessings in my life. And you my dear flickr friends are one of my favorite and most valued blessings. I appreciate each and every one of you for your impressive talents, wonderful friendship and continued support.
This was a memorable dawn in Idaho's Sawtooths, with Mt. McGown catching the early glow nicely reflected in Stanley Lake. Can't wait to return. A few other shots from this trip in the comments.
I've been away from flickr for a bit. Spokane had the worst windstorm in our history. Many still don't have power. Still cleaning up from it. Sad to see so many trees down. We were fortunate, but so many weren't. We're remodeling our top floor, with new paint, flooring, fixtures and bathrooms. Busy times. Hope to return to my daily involvement early next week. I miss you. Remodeling is hard....
Enjoy a most wonderful Thanksgiving!

This was taken on a crisp, sunny morning, November 23, 2017. Tall grasses used in landscaping bathed golden in sunlight, were so appreciated to see now that all here in The Mid-Hudson Valley has faded. An adjustment, if that, converting raw to jpeg.
He took her his sword. When he left her he'd be going straight to battle. There was only one thing she could do for him. So she strode out into the pool between worlds to commune with the cosmos. To plead for the universe to grant this weapon the strength to defeat his enemies and defend his life. She prayed it would be enough.

Sheltering at home is truly a blessing. I have so many things to do... the days fly by too quickly.
Yup, Same spot as yesterday (because I am trying to stay close to home) and because I decided that I really like it ... and since I worked so hard to reclaim it from the weeds and vines, I felt that I should make use of it. And while I was out there, it rained, it snowed, the sun came out, the wind howled... and I wondered why I wasn't wearing gloves! It felt like winter! Got this shot and headed home for hot chocolate. I am loving every day that I have the time to do what I want to do. Life is good... blessings in disguise.
