Bit of a behinds the scenes shot of Local Live, a show broadcast on KVRX and TSTV giving local bands a venue to perform since the 90's.
This is a playscape that we made for the Bits of Goodness swap for a lovely family in Canada. This was a mother-daughter project, designed by daughter. The ground was sewn with wool felt and recycled fabric from clothing. The grasses were crocheted and latch-hooked wool yarn. Bushes were wool yarn pompons that we wrapped. The pool/stream was crocheted from cotton yarn that we dyed with indigo. The flowers are crocheted yarns. We enjoyed making this playscape!
These pictures were taken before we mailed it. This one features wood farm animals.

I'm very pleased with myself having rebuilt this lens after it had jammed solid. Considering the amount of electronics and tiny tiny screws inside and the complicated mechanism. I amazed myself to have got it fixed!! The photos in this Album or Set were taken with this lens days after the rebuild, sorted!! :-D

Bits and bobs
Pictures taken during exercising my hobby (electronics) and building/disassembling amplifiers and/or upgrading a record player tonearm and pre-amplifier. Anyway, a text was needed, to describe this lot, and here it is (the text and the lot, enjoy the pictures :)).
Lots of jets. Also, I really wanted to try that knee joint after seeing it for a long time on other people's mecha.
The food was every bit as good as the menu suggested, as was the house ale...the fireplace, with its warm colours and old stuff on the mantelpiece made the place look homely and comfortable.
Bit of a grey Easter this morning. Did some river walk downtown. Just a little too cold and windy. The sun came out later.

Bit of a random photo...
I love the colours of the rocks around beaches of Darwin... This was taken last night at East Point and has had no editting done aside from my watermark and a slight straighten of the horizon.
The rocks up here are amazing colours. Hopefully this picture kinda shows it.

A Bit of A Do 2023 at Pebmarsh produced the usual eclectic mix of bygones, vehicles, machinery and good cheer despite indifferent weekend weather.
Just received another Trans-Dark Blue 2x6 Brick from Hungary!
To my surprise, this one is a bit different than the one I own, this (left brick) is MABS and uses a newer mold with ejector pin markings on the bottom of the walls.
Another thing to note is that the PC brick on the right has frosted walls, while the MABS brick has smooth walls -- although something I did notice was this MABS brick has a foggy appearance to the side walls, I originally thought this was because of surfaces scratches or maybe the type of plastic, but upon closer inspection, the fogginess seems to cut off around the same height that it does on the PC brick, so maybe it is intentional? Maybe it is just the draft angle playing tricks? Who knows. The hue is also a bit different of course, but the camera doesn't pick up on it much.
This is my first time having one color of a 2x6 brick in both MABS and PC, I'm sure more exist, like Trans-Clear and maybe Trans-Bright Green, but information and availability of transparent 2x6 bricks is pretty scarce.
This order also included several other really cool modern qparts (2020ish), which will be uploaded to TQE shortly...
