three days till Christmas

This is an analog sequencer I started after I had ordered some pink and blue LEDs for valentine's day. It doesn't make sound, but puts out a cycle of changing resistances (12...41...0...108...12...41...0...108, etc.) that can be used to control a simple frequency generator, synthesizers, or even be used as an input sensor for Pure Data, MAX/MSP, etc. via an Arduino (or Dorkboard). There are 12 knobs to set resistances/notes, and one for tempo. The other knobs and output jack connect to a simple synth breadboarded on the inside. I added them just to make interfacing a bit easier, but they are separate from any functions of the sequencer. Sorry for the small photo!

Well it's not exactly a Partridge and I don't think there are any Pears in that tree, but it is a Great Blue Heron, Alligator Breeding Marsh and Wading Bird Rookery, Gatorland, Orlando, Florida.

Happy Bench Monday!

The area surrounding the bay itself, also called Marina Bay, is a 360 hectare extension to the adjacent Central Business District. It is also the new downtown of Singapore built on reclaimed land. In the reclamation process, Telok Ayer Basin and Inner Roads was removed from the map by reclaiming land, while the Singapore River's mouth now flows into the bay instead of directly into the sea.

VIEW ORIGINAL Ok this is about as Artsy as I get !!! But I think it gives everyone an amazing view of how beautiful Sandhill Cranes are ! The photo was taken when the Sandhill Crane walked up to Linda and I at Viera Wetlands. We did tell the Sandhill thank-you and were honored to be in its company !! Shot with Rolleiflex 3.5T medium format TLR on Rollei IR 400 film using Kolari K720 Infrared filter. Developed in Sprint chemistry. Negative scanned on Epson V600 scanner. Post-processing in Photoshop.
