after having had a bath in one of the fountains
this bird decided to dry its feathers while zooming in on the harbour.
I loved that local Brunehaut beer so much, I had to take another photo of it... Support your local IPA!
An image of St Catherine’s Fort at Tenby in West Wales. This place has been many things since it was built. It was firstly a place of worship but was then taken over for military purposes when the French threatened to invade. It’s last incarnation was as a Zoo of all things but closed in 1979 and has been closed since then.
Looking south and west onto Naples, Florida. The Gulf of Mexico is to the top right. You can see how green the city is, and some of the interestingly shaped skyline.

The Bacuit Archipelago is a group of islands and islets in the Philippines known for its white-sand beaches, turquoise waters, and limestone karst landscapes. It's considered one of the most beautiful bays in the world.
The area surrounding the bay itself, also called Marina Bay, is a 360 hectare extension to the adjacent Central Business District. It is also the new downtown of Singapore built on reclaimed land. In the reclamation process, Telok Ayer Basin and Inner Roads was removed from the map by reclaiming land, while the Singapore River's mouth now flows into the bay instead of directly into the sea.

The sun has almost set behind us as we level off at 37,000 leaving Oakland. Off the left one can't help but marvel at the North Complex fire just northwest of Lake Tahoe, its massive plume of smoke billowing over thirty thousand feet high. I think about the safety of the people in that raging fires path and the brave forest service workers and firefighters working to contain it. As of today, only 23% of that fire is contained and this isn't the only fire burning in CA, OR, and WA state. Hoping for lighter winds and rainy weather to help the fight.

I started taking self portraits to try and find a level of acceptance of myself, 10 years later and taking self portraits can still make me break down and cry.
I'm a work in progress.
A reinterpretation of an old self portrait you can see here.

Central is Hong Kong’s frenetic business and retail heart, crammed with skyscrapers, swanky malls and luxury hotels. The neighborhood is known for nightlife, with raucous pubs and nightclubs in Lan Kwai Fong, and wine bars and trendy restaurants in nearby SoHo.

An incredible aerial view of the braided glacial river system in Iceland's Highlands.
