Taken from a high rise condo balcony. I don't use a camera strap so I was nervous every time I held the camera over the rail. Then I thought to myself, I haven't ever dropped my camera from street level why would I start dropping it now that I'm 10 stories up. Still, every time I leaned out I got the danger vibe. Some lounge chairs and plants edited out for a minimalist aesthetic. I would like to do this shot again when there are some people present or bring my own.
Ngong Ping is a highland in the western part of Lantau Island, Hong Kong. It hosts Po Lin Monastery and Tian Tan Buddha amidst the hills which is about 34 m tall. There are several hills nearby which are also an attraction to tourists. It is now the terminus of the cable car ride Ngong Ping 360 which travels to Tung Chung.

Le Pont Couvert des Draveurs (1926) in south of Rimouski, Quebec, Canada.
Also known as "Pont de Mont-Lebel", this covered bridge is 27.7 metres/91 feet in length with a height of 3.66 metres/12 feet.
Although its name and date plaque states that it was erected in 1930, recent studies of documentation available indicates that it was actually erected in 1926. See here: pontscouverts.com/blogue/pont-des-draveurs/

It was my dream to take the trace of the car from this mountain pass.
Fortunately, the train runs on the mountain side, too.
I cannot confirm it with a photograph,
I see Mount Fuji slightly in the background.

I was lucky enough to be able to join a tour of the tower at Wakefield Cathedral as part of a Heritage day across the city. They don't offer tours of the tower very often and the advertisement said this is the only one they're doing this year; the reason for this is that a pair of peregrine falcons nest in the box attached to the tower so when the chicks are there we obviously can't disturb them.
There were something like 200 steps going up a rather narrow spiral staircase with a low ceiling so it was a difficult climb but well worth it once we reached the top: the views were amazing. I was great to see my home city from this viewpoint and was an experience I'll never forget. I'd love to see it at night with all the street lights, headlights and lights from the houses!
This is the view over the main body of the Cathedral looking east (I think).

Gardens by the Bay was part of the nation's plans to transform its "Garden City" to a "City in a Garden", with the aim of raising the quality of life by enhancing greenery and flora in the city. First announced by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at Singapore's National Day Rally in 2005, Gardens by the Bay was intended to be Singapore's premier urban outdoor recreation space, and a national icon.
