Does anyone know what kind of butterfly this might be? I´ve got no idea. Took the picture in Piedmonte/Italy. Thanks you nondesigner59, must be a burnet moth, searched for it and found some infos about this catchy colored insect:
Six-spot burnets Zygaena filipendulae are day flying moths. The six red spots on each of the moths greenish-black fore-wings are a warning to predators the moth is poisonous. See also here: www.naturfoto-cz.de/burnet-moths.html
The Tean's Gourmet Assam Fish curry paste resulted in a tangy spicy fish curry. I think this is something we'd make again!

The curry leaves added a nice nutty, spicy flavour, and we also added 2 Kaffir Lime Leaves for an extra zing, rendang-style. Next time, maybe we'll add some cinnamon or cassia sticks as well.

The A1 Mountain Globe/A1 Best One curry paste was pretty good too. It's definitely earned a place in my pantry.
After watching Poh's Kitchen, Julia was rather intrigued by the Black Beef Curry. Perhaps the tomatoes we used were too big, but our result was more like a deep red, tomatoey curry, rather than black. Tasted pretty good though!
The curry leaves added a nice nutty, spicy flavour, and we also added 2 Kaffir Lime Leaves for an extra zing, rendang-style. Next time, maybe we'll add some cinnamon or cassia sticks as well.

Pretty good curry paste... but I suspect it has MSG, even if it doesn't say so on the ingredients list!

Lago San Giacomo di Fraele is situated in the lower part of Val Mora which belongs to Italy even though it´s altitude is about 2000 m. It´s near the Green border of Italy and Switzerland.

A further picture from my alpine cross series by mountainbike of the Val Mora... This one is taken in the upper region of the high valley on approx.. 2400 m NN taken near the green boarder between Switzerland and Italy.

Alpencross 2005
Rauminstallation der Künstlerin Paola Pivi im Frankfurter Portikus. Die Installation besteht aus Stahlobjekten die unterschiedliche Flüssigkeiten aus energetischem Strahl nach unten in ein Bassin befördern und von dort wieder nach oben umgewälzt werden. Hier sieht man Olivenöl.
It s an exhibition where you can see different liquids such as olive oil, coffee or black ink, flowing out of huge steel tubes.
