Ironman Frankfurt. 3.8 km swimming, 180km cycling and 43.195 km running.
The picture was taken when almost half of the whole pensum was done at the so called "Heartbreak Hill" near Bad Vilbel!!!!! Amazing, how relaxed she looks like.

Dolomiti-Cross 2007.
Erster Alpencross 2002. Da ging es gleich sehr hoch hinauf. Meines Wissens ist das Madritschjoch der höchste Berg in den Alpen der per Mountainbike überquert werden kann. Hier sind wir bereits am höchsten Punkt angekommen. Die Luft ist dünn..., 3200 m ü. NN.
After several days of trekking in Ladakh without being confronted with any kind of human civilization, we reached a small village in the himalayan mountains, "Hundar Dok" where we met some friendly people showing us the best way to continue the trip. We really were thankful of meeting such compassionate people though they realized that our way we wanted to take couldn´t been taken that time because of high waterlevel in the river we had to pass.

In German wird die Cordillera Real auch Königskordillere genannt. Sie befindet sich im bolivianischen Andenhochland und erstreckt sich auf einer Länge von etwa 125 km und einer Breite von 20 km. Die Kordillere weist sechs Sechstausender auf, und zwar von Norden nach Süden:
* Pico del Norte (6070 m)
* Illampú (6368 m)
* Ancohuma (6427 m)
* Chachacomani (6074 m)
* Huayna Potosí (6088 m)
* Illimani (6462 m)

Lago di Garda, Italy. The classical "Alpencross"-tour by mountainbike ends at Lake Garda. After arriving there it´s a "must" to take a bath in the lake still wearing bike-clothes.

Squash ball into a bowl of water!
This is one of my first efforts at high speed photogrphy. It was using a shutter speed of 1/1600 in very bright sunlight. Used the camera in burst shot mode to capture 4 images in quick sucession and picked the bestone. Anyone got tips on how to improve?
I took some shots out of Dan's window as we drove away from the campsite. This was the bestone.

BACKSTORY: Since nobody wanted to go camping with us last weekend, Matthew invited us to go camping with him and some friends this weekend. We went off-roading, fishing, and then shooting at a firing range. Good times! So nice to not have to organize the trip for once!
