The Bell Miners (aka Bellbirds) were in full swing high in the trees, the storm was imminent and the first drops of rain just hit the water. Suddenly, just a few meters in front of me, a birdie landed, looked at me, "click-click" and it was gone. I got wet soon after.
(Manorina melanophrys)
I have a strip with lots of little bells attached at the back of my front door. No one sneaks in unnoticed! lol. I thought it would be great for today's Macro Mondays challenge of 'sound'.
Happy Macro Mondays/ HMM

Have you ever felt a part of the photo without being in it? This picture takes me to that quiet evening. After a drizzle, the sun was peeking through the clouds again, the only sound was a soft wind and the tinkling of bells on the cattle further away. I wasn't taking a picture, I felt. I was the picture.
This bell is a trinket purchased in Nova Scotia. The little lobster hanging inside the handle is intended to honor the fact that the tiny Canadian province of Nova Scotia is the world's largest exporter of lobster (sourced from Wikipedia, hope that's right!). I guess maybe they have lots of snakes too? HMM!
The Funeral Bell, (Galerina marginata).
The aptly named Funeral Bell contains the same toxins as the Death Cap so it is a good mushroom to get to know and then avoid.
It is a species of poisonous fungus in the family Hymenogastraceae of the order Agaricales.

Hey look, he’s got his own spotlights! (Terrible, I know) Bit of a tough hike up in some beautiful drizzly weather, but extra-worth it with this ratty-lookin adult giving great views!
A fun theme, thanks for the bell Angela!
Many thanks for all views, fav’s and particularly comments, all are greatly appreciated.
Happy Macro Mondays to you all!
I found whole bunch of seeds in the space in between in this bell pepper. HMM!
Macro Mondays: The Space In Between
Looking down from the top of the civil (not church!) tower in Petritoli. The whole tower, which was built in 1832, sways when the big bell rings.
The Maroon Bells are an increasingly popular destination for visitors. This scenic area features several hiking trails ranging from short hikes near Maroon Lake to longer overnight backpacking trips into the Maroon Wilderness.
Maroon Lake elevation 9,580 ft occupies a basin that was sculpted by Ice-Age glaciers.
We visited this place several days at different hours of the day.

This is so rusty but it gives good details and texture as a photography subject.
Have a great week ahead.
