The beginning of a road locally known as "Planet of the Apes" for it's post apocalyptic appearance. This was the road before highway one was constructed. Planet of the Apes sits in ruin with secitions that are paved, dirt, and or gravel.
6/14/07 once upon a time in mexico...
public apology:
dear nathanael,
this picture serves as both an "i'm sorry" and an "IOU lots of vitamins" picture. i have not "abandoned" you, nor have i "abandoned" the vitamin project; it's still my favorite photo collaboration ever.
if you don't remember/couldn't guess, these pieces of paper were written on in the middle of august 2005/in the middle of mexico/at the beginning of this... correspondence. this picture is for balconies at 4am and peanut butter & tortillas and long emails and costa rica invites (x2) and not losing touch and surprises and hugs and the redwood forest and long phone calls and mix cds and road trips and goodbyes and my rearview mirrow with your hat on and your hands in your pockets and laughing and laughing and laughing.
your friend,
molly
ps i have no idea why i saved those pieces of paper; i found them mixed in with everthing else i acquired in mexico (bus tickets, maps, reciepts, phone numbers, napkins)
pps really, thanks for caring.

Love survives
under the fires of practicality
and the necessity of egoism
My heart is the battleship
with hardened scars laid over scars
drenched in the futility of tears
yet longing to a peace of love
[Love for a New Year]
The French born floral artiste Cedric Amani, starts his humble beginning with flower art from the very young age. His eye for flower has been in there since he was 15.
A graduate of the Academie De Nancy-Metz, France, Amani believes to always pay attention to detail of the flower and the spotlight should be on the actual flowers themselves rather than the accessories that surrounded it.
It was in Paris that he starts to consider flower arrangements seriously as a future career. He won several prestigious awards as a flower designer during schooling years. He learned that combination of textures, colors and scents are the key elements an designing a room full of flowers or a simple bouquet.
As Founder and Creative Director of Cédric Amani Floral Art Consulting Ltd HK & Cedric Amani Flower Trading LLC, he brings the world of French Floral Art – starting in France to Mauritius, USA, Japan, Dubai, Maldives, Turkey, Macau, Hong Kong & United Arab Emirates with classic and contemporary designs that boosted by Parisian influence,
Cedric’s impressive portfolio recently included the distinctive 7 Star Burj Al-Arab Hotel, Mardan Palace in Turkey and more great properties around the world.
With his keen attention to detail, Cédric Amani hand selects flowers used in arrangements, ensuring that their color, and appeal will create the perfect result. With a selected team of professionals florists, Cédric Amani Floral Design provide exceptional and creational work of both classic and contemporary designs.

Beginning Fall: I dug out one og my older cameras - just because I didn't want to carry a lot. So I came across that 60mm APSC lens, that I don't use a lot. Today that seemed to be a good choice, I got some nice shots although it was a walk with my partner, and she does not like to wait an hour until I have finished my composition ... ;-) I'm sure many photographers know that.
I joined "Our Daily Challenge" in order to get some jump starts to my ideas for my 365 since I am plumb out. Today's challenge prompt was "Beginning". I am not crazy about this but it's been a long day.
Chloe and Corbie wrestle early in their lives. This is certainly not the last time they will face each other in combat.
