Saturday Morning. We visited a mesmerising blue alpine lake that made us feel like we had transported ourselves into the rockies. One of the glaciers that feeds it can be seen in the reflection below Tara and the creek that it enters from is top right of image. #BeautifulBC

As I patiently waiting in Iona Beach Regional Park, I noticed that this moth flying around me. As I continued to observe it, it only interested in yellow flowers.
So I decided to focus at one of the yellow flowers and see if it will come. Indeed, it did :)

I met this colt today while out hunting for my daily photo. I chose the Bald Eagle that I posted earlier, but this wild horse is too handsome not to share as well.

Because the spot prawn season is about to be over, we decided to go Steveston and see if we could get some good deals on live spot prawn. Unfortunately, we found out that T&T had better sales. So we just ended up chilling in Steveston.
Lately, I have been focusing on doing landscape and urbanscape shot. It is good to shoot something different from time to time :)

Many memorial statues have been erected in Stanley Park in Vancouver, Canada but this Harry Jerome statue overlooks the magnificent complexes of the downtown core
The statue of Harry Winston Jerome is a memorial of his great life as a Canadian track and field runner who broke many world records and competed in the 1960, 1964 and 1968 Summer Olympics. He won the gold medal in the 1966 British Empire and Commonwealth Games and the 1967 Pan American Ganbvmes.
Harry Jerome suffered a severe injury at the Perth Commonwealth Games in 1962 and retired from the athletic world in 1969. He then went on to help... create Canada's new Ministry of Sport and held a number of senior positions but soon resigned due to government decisions.
Harry Jerome was truly a great Canadian hero and this statue in Stanley Park, Vancouver is a well deserved honor in his memory. To this day there are sports events held in his honor and buildings bearing his name.

Sometimes beautiful scenery is just right in front of us. It is up to us to spot it or not. When I just finished taking photos of cherry blossom nearby, I realized that the sky was a bit special. Two different colors of clouds were so close to each other which makes big contrast to my eyes.
It is that kind of contrast that draws people attention. I am glad I wasn't starring my smartphone but instead to look up at the sky :)

We have these birds all over our coast and each and every one is exciting to watch.
