Yesterday, I was in Kerrisdale trying to pick some gifts for my friend's daughter as her bday is approaching. When I got there, I realized that it was Kerridale Carnival Days 2019 event. There were quite a lot of people. Many shops put their items out on the street.
There were music performance and horse & carriage rides along Kerrisdale. One of the most popular lineups was the face painting. So many kids were lining up to get their face painted. After every kid got their face painted, there was a big smile on his or her face; she is indeed an angel... :)

Around this time of year, I will be busy taking family photos with cherry blossom in the background. This year is very different as everyone is staying home and doing their parts of social distancing. As a result, I have more time for myself.
Because of the coronavirus, many festivals related to cherry blossom have been cancelled. In addition, almost all summer events. It is safe to say that 2020 isn't a year that everyone anticipate. Stay safe and healthy everyone...

As time was running out, this was one of my final shots of the day. I always passed by this spot while biking at night but I never really have time to stop and look around. That day was perfect as I still a little bit of time to compose my shot.
With a 10-stop ND filter and CPL, the water became super smooth, just the way I liked it :)

Lately, I am trying to get out of the comfort zone and spend more taking photos in Vancouver. I realized that many photos I took and upload are from Japan and Hong Kong.
It is good to get a camera and go explore the city I live in. The fun thing about street photo is to be able to spot and capture the moment. I guess this is why so many photographers enjoy street photos.
