30 sec exposure with infrared filter. This river has its head waters at the midpoint of our beautiful province, emptying here into the Pacific. Thanks for your appreciation, Gail
The iconic Lions Gate Bridge, in Vancouver, BC, was built in depression era 1938 by the Guinness family (of beer fame), who had invested in property on the north side, and who saw a massive increase in the value of their land once people could actually get there.
A sailor I know once told me that, among the greatest feelings of returning home from sea, was the heart swell he got when passing under the Lions Gate Bridge. I felt a similar excitement as I headed out on a recent adventure, when I captured this image.

Husband: Hey honey should we take the bear spray?
Me: Nah I have never seen a bear here before....
This handsome bear stood up, looked at us, and left (only had a few seconds to click a few shots) lesson learned!

Helmcken Falls is a 141 m waterfall on the Murtle River within Wells Gray Provincial Park in British Columbia, Canada. The protection of Helmcken Falls was one of the reasons for the creation of Wells Gray Provincial Park in 1939.
Unimaginable, breathtaking view. The sound of the crashing water was loud, yet very soothing.
To me, it appeared heart shaped, and the eroded stone bowl, combined with the water spray looked like a baby in a womb.
Patches of compact snow remained at the base of the first drop.
Thank-you for all the overwhelming support and many friendships.

Morning has broken like the first morning
Blackbird has spoken like the first bird
Praise for the singing, praise for the morning
Praise for them springing fresh from the Word
Sweet the rains new fall, sunlit from Heaven
Like the first dewfall on the first grass
Praise for the sweetness of the wet garden
Sprung in completeness where His feet pass
Mine is the sunlight, mine is the morning
Born of the one light, Eden saw play
Praise with elation, praise every morning
God's recreation of the new day
Morning has broken like the first morning
Blackbird has spoken like the first bird
Praise for the singing, praise for the morning
Praise for them springing fresh from the Word

Acres of tulips with masses of colours attract u-pick visitors on Mother's Day. These red roses with saturated backlit petals rimmed by specular highlights created a strong impression.
