You have heard of beating the heat, but hey, we Bangladeshis have the power to beat the cold with even colder river water!

The staff of the ship had below standard bathrooms, which meant they had to take their daily shower with the cold river water!

After a warm day, it usually rains in the late afternoons, right when people are leaving from work, hence creating a massive traffic jam. So people are in a mad rush to go home before that happens.

One of the many, many street entertainers who frequent Church Street.

Lion Dancing inside Birmingham’s Bullring shopping centre. Due to large numbers of people it was impossible to get photos at eye level, so resorted to taking some from first floor balcony. Not my favourite POV but better than nothing…

(Beating Heart Baby)

Baby is this love for real?

(Beating Heart Baby)

Let me in your arms to feel

(Beating Heart Baby)

The beating of your heart, baby

(Beating Heart Baby)

The beating of you heart, baby

You, you want nothing to do with me [x2]

I, I don't know what to do with you

Cuz you don't know what you do to me

[Chorus:]

Baby is this love for real?

Let me in your arms to feel

The beating heart baby

The beating of your heart, baby

[repeat]

Girl, you really got your hold on me [x2]

Girl, you gotta get away from me

'Cause you want nothing to do with me

[Chorus (x2)]

In spite of you

Even out of view

Still I love all of you

I do, yeah

[repeat]

After a sunny day with a few clouds in the sky it suddendly began to turn a bit darker. I went down to El Reducto for a few photos and managed 5 or 6 before it turned grey and the rain came down. You could see it raining out at sea but before you knew it it was raining inland so back to the car and home.

5 second exposure @ f10

Gratitude for time alone with moments like this.

For the second Friday in a row it absolutely poured the rain as T09 went South. Fortunately, just minutes before the rain started, I was able to catch it racing through Tiprell.

Knife Party // Devour // Evo X //

While walking back to our car at Wallace Creek, we saw these low hanging dark clouds. In the distant, we could see a Range Rover dashing across the big plain leaving a trail of dust. I thought it must be trying to beat the storm.

The real purpose of going back to the bluebells was to shoot a little 30 second promo for Rach, helping advertise a national music festival where she's performing. I got a few shots of her before I started shooting. I like all the complimentary colours :)

You can almost set your watch to Arizona Eastern train #101's arrival on the grade out of Clifton. I drove over from the motel expecting time to get out my Cherrios and cup of yogurt before the train arrived this morning, but I no soon pulled up to my "Breakfast spot" and I heard the churning prime movers from three B40-9s. No time to eat right now! And minutes before the sun came up, along came the train from Lordsburg.

As it started to sprinkle, Nina grabbed her tote bag and ran back to the beach cottage to avoid getting soaked.

I wanted to take a picture of this house for a long time but always have a telephoto lens on and I can never get the whole house in the shot. I was trying out a new pancake lens today and managed to get the whole property framed.

It's The Beatings To Occur Around the Clock sign that always caught my eye.
