My top all sewn together with blue flannel yardage that I have. I almost think it's to bright of a blue though. The blue in the top is more of a light blue. I have a couple of other colors I'm looking at. Here are the links-

What do you guys think? I'm also open to any other suggestions. The top is about 34x51 so if I tried to find something from the Blush line I would need about 2 yards.

Quilt made as fundraiser for my daughter's preschool. Had each of the students write their name on a leaf, and appliqued to a "tree" along with apples for the teachers and Oreo, the school pet rabbit! The school initials are "carved" into the tree trunk. Blogged at:

Day Thirteen
I wasn't happy with any of the results from the Ebay search...so I went a little different route and just scrapped a few pictures I'd been holding onto for awhile.
Little random...but as you know by now, so am I.
The photo on the left is elevated with pop dots and lines up with the second picture.

"One of my FAVORITE things about the car show was riding in the new jeep on a really interesting obstacle course : over logs, on an angle, up a SUPER steep hill & then down the hill with NO BRAKES! It was totally AWESOME! It makes me want a jeep maybe more now than EVER! Such a fun adventure. 2011 :)"

This card was a 10 minute make. It was inspired by some Basic Grey papers from my paper stash. Their scrapbooking ranges often come with a 12x12in sheet of pre-cut shapes, one of which was this butterfly. So when I needed a quick card idea, I used the butterfly centre piece and layered it up with gems and scalloped edges (scalloped scissors are one of my favourite crafty tools).
Fun Halloween card made with Bazzill card stock and other bits of papers I had around. The frame is recycled from some packaging I had. My fave part is the black lacy border made from the EK Success edge punch.
For this challenge:
Simply used BG Wander to document my daughter's 3rd grade year. Their school theme was a travel theme: "Destination: Success". I used Picasa to collage a variety of photos from her year, pulled out a a couple of sheets of BG, the sticker and alphas from Wander, and a little ricrac.
I'm thinking I borrowed this design from another one-pager, but can't find it - sorry!

Cynthia

A layout about Me talking about "things I don't do"...inspired by the prompt at Who's That Girl.
Here's the journaling: I am a creature ruled by my emotions. I am ruled by my heart...easily hurt. Quick to smile & laugh, but also quick to anger. When someone hurts me, I keep it inside. Why? It's a selfish reason, really. It's not so much I'm afraid to hurt another...it's because I can't deal with the guilt after saying something I wish I could take back. You would not believe how much sleep I'd lose! Awful to say...BUT IT'S THE TRUTH!"

LOAD Day 7
Manic Monday - 30 minute time limit
I've done this challenge before and although I'm not a scrapper who usually takes a real long time to finish a page, it's always refreshing to me.

"ugly shoes
in the nearly four years i've known jon, we've never gone bowling-which is funny since there are so many alleys near our house! while we were in texas, we decided to go...we had so much FUN! since we are both SUPER competitive, we made a small wager; the LOSER had to buy breakfast at the airport on the way home! we both shook on it and away we went. there were strikes & a few gutterballs and breakfast was a treat! i love the way we rocked those ugly shoes and had fun! photos: april 2012 - journaling may"

The stamps on this are by Inkadinkado, with the word by Stampington & Co. The flower and Admit One tag are from my friend DeeDee's Etsy store called umwowstudio. I love her starched flowers!
Basic Grey patterned paper, Spellbinders Layered Poinsettia die, and the sentiment is from a small clear Hero Arts set, from last year, I think.
My Blog Just Stamp It
Spent the weekend making some fun Father's Day Cards! I used Kim Hughes' Paper Smooches stamps with Basic Grey papers, Tim Holtz' Distressing Markers, and Stampin' Up embossing powder.
For this week's Jingle Belles Prompt, we're returning to a holiday song title prompt ... yes, Lauren & I love Christmas songs (and puns), so we'll be using them a lot this year. Jingle Belles Prompt #6 (JB06) is ... Baby, It's Cold Outside ... which we thought was rather appropriate during the week of Snow-pocolypse.
And for us, that means making a card that includes a hat ... or gloves ... or a scarf ... or mittens ... or some warm, fuzzy felt.
I chose to use most of the above with my fun fuzzy holiday card design.
My husband said my two whimsical Woolie Jovial Basic Grey Snowmen friends reminded him of Ren & Stimpy ... so I went with a Happy Happy Joy Joy holiday sentiment from SRM Stickers.
I used this week's Mojo Monday sketch for my layout, and added lots of felt snowflakes I picked up on my fall vacation. I put coordinating aqua adhesive gems in the middle of each one.
So think about ways to stay warm ... and add another holiday card to your stash. You have until Wednesday, February 9th at 6pm EST to link up your fuzzy warm creation ... we can't wait to see what you make.
