Impressions from the city.
Captured with my Fuji, processed in Aperture using my self created preset.
Vanessa is one of our all time favourite brides who has returned for her maternity shoot. She is always smiling and so radiant that she lights up a room.
Even heavily pregnant she is still walking her dogs regularly and keeping active so I knew I wanted to photograph her away from the studio... a bit of a change from my usual maternity images.

I exposed my Acros for 400 iso instead of 100... So I decided to process the roll in rodinal 1+100 at 21°C during 90 minutes in stand development (agitation the first minute then 2 inversions at 30 min ant at 60 min).
Granted I usually do not shoot things like this. I often find it "too easy", like sunsets, animals in the zoo and the like. But this particular flower represents to me a small amount of magic. The light was perfect, the morning was perfect, a single frame can not possibly show it's entire beauty but I can try.
E i pensieri abusivi che mi occupano la testa (chiederò presto lo sfratto).
Nell'attesa metto ordine tra i sentimenti.
Note to self: Next time practice on a child with DARK hair...that white-blonde hair is a blowout waiting to happen! Wonder where I can find one...

Here, at low tide, Turnagain Arm is deceptively calm and harmless. But stepping onto the mudflats is extremely dangerous.
It is characterized by extremely high tides, which can reach up to 12 m. The largest tides in the USA !!!
The tide often begins with a tidal range that temporarily reaches 1.8 m, at a speed of 9.7 km per hour!
