This was a very contrasty late-afternoon scene. While I generally like photos that are crisp and pretty contrasty, this scene had "too much of a good thing." I hoped to "kill" some of the contrast by shooting against the sunlight. I am pleased with this softer result.

This shot I took from my living room window during a late rainy night couple of weeks back, it was drizzling making the tree illuminate by the light behind.

I don't normally do self portraits but when I saw my shadow on the rocks in front of me, I just couldn't resist, not one of my best portraits but you'll have to take my word for that! Taken on Curbar edge on a very foggy morning with the sun on my back and my shadow on the rocks.
0.6 soft grad and slight exposure adjustment.
