John got a backhoe for the tractor. The tractor was returned the day after the big April snowstorm.

Today was the second weekday of fair weather, so here we are back in the fields. I just thought about this today, and came to the conclusion that everything on the farm must break down. If it isn't the machinery, it's the field itself. Yep, today we were out fixing the field. Ok...I admit it wasn't the earth that needed fixing, it was the drainage tile someone had laid underneath it. Here you see part of a dug up tile system. Probably the tile was smashed and has been removed. We will install a new line of tile and connect both ends so that the water will run through the tile instead of the "ditch."

I used a steel brush on it and then dad and I painted it. What a difference!

I couldn't believe that the driver of that backhoe brought it over right in the middle of the inning and parked it there.

This was picked as my narrative photo.

So here's the basic lay-down... While I was in my photography class (ironically), my car was crushed by a backhoe. The machine's bucket dropped on my roof, collapsing it in at the rear, shattering my brand new rear windshield (I JUST replaced it last year when the last one shattered) and pushing in the side of my car against the wheels. To make a long story short, the campus is going to pay for it, but my insurance company sucks and therefore is gonna take forever to get my estimate.

Anyways... Never a missed opportunity. I grabbed poster board out of my trunk, scribbled down a thought, propped it up against my car and took the shot. The name kinda says it all: "God's insurance coverage must be vast." Think about it - if someone could create and control this entire planet, what must his insurance be like?

PS - just because I'm atheist doesn't mean I can't wander into another's perspective.
