The landscaper stopped by another day. Said that the only cure for our weed situation was a backhoe treatment. So, for a few days we've had this yellow beast parked in the yard...victoriously puncturing the gluttony of daily sunsets.
And why the whole fuss about the weeds anyway? Don't have to water it, don't have to mow it. Delivers intriguing diversity. Plus dogs don't crap on it and neighbors don't dare visiting. I guess this ideal state of affairs will soon end and what ain't broken will have to be fixed.
Or maybe it is not about weeds? What if indeed they are building a hyperspace bypass and our place is scheduled for demolition? I'd better look for a towel, exchange the last courtesies with the dolphins and wait patiently for Thursday afternoon.
