Decades ago, somebody buried this stream. It is flooding the property lower down, so J is excavating the old stream bed. The chickens love it, the land is drying and it is lovely to see.

There were two burnt out trailers on the lot along with lots of other trash and junk.

We have spent a couple weeks clearing, cleaning, burning and hauling away everything.

This was the last of it, two dump truck loads. The smoke in the photo is actually ash.

A water leak story by Mike Haney
