An interesting and somewhat unusual russian backhoe loader.
Does anybody know what make and model is this one?
Unlike the other LL-924 variants, the backhoe cockpit opening hints one of the main differences with the other versions.
Well technically it's the backhoe but the base is the same isn't it? ;)

I tried to make this dig a little deeper than the ones I saw for sale commercially which is usually about 6 feet. I think mine is closer to 8 partly because of the longer bucket. Backing up helps the bucket cylinder dig--one version of this doesn't even use a bucket cylinder. Turn to dump. For another view see: flickr.com/photos/21702692@N05/2199209170/
The front landing gear has been replaced by the engine of the loader along with two powerful light projectors. The rear side has also been reinforced.
The pilot may control this crane from his cockpit but also from a remote which can be fixed on the ship.
This week's photo assignment. It's a mix between a backhoe and a dozer that my in-laws put together. And yes, it really does work.
