The LL-924 Backhoe is maybe one of the less known variants as it was only developed by the public services of some remote colonies.

This backhoe's been digging for days now. The work site is just north of the Kroger on Olentangy. I watch it during lunch once in a while. It sits on top of that dirt pile and gathers the dirt around the pile as if to boost himself higher and higher. I don't understand the task.

When it comes down from the pile, shown here, it comes down s-l-o-w-l-y and gracefully. He uses the front claw to stabilize the vehicle. The operator's focus is intense. I'm guessing it could topple pretty easily.

A boss once asked if I'd ever be satisfied at work. Of course not, I said. Operating this would be a step in the right direction.

It rained all day and the sky tonight was dramatic and I decided to try something with some lines and some organic texture as a B&W conversion - I'm not sure I'm 100% there, but it was fun learning... Shot at 11mm for the drama.

The LL-924 backhoe provides many locations where to store various tools like hammer, shovel, mattock and so on...

I wanted to have some large tractor tyres and found the 42081 would be the cheapest set to get those. However, I'm not so keen on the original ZEUX, I then decided to turn it into something that i could like more. So here it comes the 42081 C-Model Backhoe Loader.

Officer stands near backhoe as northbound traffic flows by normally. The future alignment of the roadway will swing left to follow the bypass road, and traffic to Bridge St. will jog right (just outside my building) to join the old road.

"Backhoe Cake" All edible, backhoe shape is hand carved. (My first try at carving) Backhoe is french vanilla cake and the base is chocolate cake. Both are iced and filled with italian buttercream. Accents are fondant and gumpaste. Rice krispies used to make the tires and oreos make the dirt.

Yes, this is quite a noisy image. I actually did not intend to make an HDR. I had taken several pictures at various low shutter speeds in order to try and do a single-image exposure but my camera couldn't time out longer than a 30-second shutter speed (didn't have a remote/bulb release). I ended up with three underexposed shots so I decided to play around by combining them into an HDR and boosting the luminance.
