Old "Case" Backhoe 580F, restored and back to work.
Abandoned by the City of Oudenaarde, sold as scrap for 1000 Euro.
Some sandblasting , new seals and paint has re-powerd this old glory
With its front massive bucket loader and its bulky belly, the LL-924 Backhoe is immediately recognizable.

"Backhoe Cake" All edible, backhoe shape is hand carved. (My first try at carving) Backhoe is french vanilla cake and the base is chocolate cake. Both are iced and filled with italian buttercream. Accents are fondant and gumpaste. Rice krispies used to make the tires and oreos make the dirt.
