It literally took my breath away when I stepped on the ledge and saw this mind blowing landscape expand in front of me. The magnificent mountain ranges of Yoho National Park in the Canadian Rockies cradle three turquoise lakes illuminated in intensely colorful light as the setting sun colors low lying clouds.
The daylight's fading slowly
But time with you is standing still

I seem to be getting hooked on song titles or lyrics, never mind that's just how my brain works!! There was no wind so it's fairly relevant, and the sight of this mountain always takes my breath away. I suppose this shot breaks all the rules, but I really like it, and as I'm home now, I think for me the rickety bridge links Scotland and Wales in some way!!!!!! There is a beach, not far from Carmel-By-The-Sea, California, that during the heyday of the early 70’s, the psychedelia-inspired artist, Tomoko Hirakawa, created his infamous ‘sand painting’, I Linger Breathlessly Amongst the Ruins of Nan Madol. It is the type of beach that, if frolicking cast-free, smiting a fancy at will, or oddly enough, blissfully exhaling frivolity on a standard-size canvas...

Been going back in time a bit lately and revisiting some old Genesis...surely it can not be denied that in a musical sense at the very least, Selling England by the Pound was where it all finally came together and was the steppingstone for the truly genius release of the double-LP The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway...a simply stunning musical masterpiece from front to back (and unfortunately the last with Peter Gabriel, as well as the dividing line between "old" and "new" Genesis). So, from that very harbinger album:
